So Thing 1 loves all things Disney Princess. She's playing by herself now, pretending to be Snow White. She's talking to her stuffed animals, who are the dwarfs. "Here's Sleepy and Grumpy. Hey, Sleepy, have you seen Creepy and Cracky?"

Sweetest sounds

Our weekend was full and fun! We enjoyed a fantastic Halloween party at the Jones' home Friday night. The girls did not care for the Haunted House, but really enjoy the hayride. They brought home entirely too much candy! Their treat bags broke, they were so full! I had the cutest Butterfly and Little Mermaid.Saturday, my mom-in-law treated the kids, my sis-in-law, my nephew, and myself to Disney on Ice. They girls had SO MUCH FUN! Thing 2 could not sit down, she was so excited. Thing 1 danced in her seat. Our gospel meeting started today and I already enjoyed a great first sermon! I cannot wait to hear the rest! Please come out and join us at Clay at 7:30 Mon-Fri of this week.On the way home from the Disney show, I heard the sweetest sound ever! My little Thing 2 was singing "Walking in Sunlight." She knows almost all of the words. I just love to hear my girls sing praises to God. It really melts my heart! It is one of the sweetest sounds! I also love hearing them play t...

Tell me something good

Okay. I give in, with a twist. Eight random things I've done only while I was pregnant.8. Call my daughter by the other daughter's name... a lot.7. Got extreme nausea whenever I smelled coconut or baked chicken.6. Make a detailed grocery list, including sizes, coupons, etc. only to forget it at home.5. Sleep through my alarm clock and through my first ultrasound appointment, while DH was at the hospital waiting for me.4.Let my husband paint my toenails because I could not comfortably reach them. 3. Cry at a toilet paper commercial. A Hallmark commercial. A Publix commercial. A dog food commercial. 2. Lock my keys and all of my Pampered Chef stuff in the car just before a big Pampered Bridal Shower. Had to call DH who was at the final BassMasters weigh-in downtown. He was NOT happy. 1. Thought I lost an earring, only to realize I put both hoop earrings in the same ear. No one bothered to tell me while I was at church, or out for dinner.

Mrs. Micellaneous

I just ordered 4 books from Amazon. I love Amazon. I am feeling the urge to cook and bake recently. I told my hubby I'm officially tired of eating out. The in-laws had the kids over Sunday night and B wanted to go to Cajun Steamers. The Crawfish Etoufee is amazing and very spicey. The doc said no tuna, so I got chicken instead. It was pretty good. Don't get me wrong, going out is nice, but I much prefer to try new recipes in my own kitchen. There are too many recipes to try out there. I rarely make the same thing twice. So today I've added four new things to my cookbook collection:Cooking Light- SoupsCooking Light- WeeknightHello CupcakeMartha Stewart's "Cookies"The last two offset the 'light' books I guess, ha! :)Thing 1 has been on a waiting list for preschool and I just knew she would not get in. I got a call last week that she got in (3 weeks after school started) and so we went to meet her teacher. Her first day was yesterday. She sneezed once before I dropped h...

I didn't expect McCain to choose a female VP- Sarah Palin from Alaska. Shocker! A mom of five, one of which just born in April. A hunter, fisherman (fisherwoman?) and an Army mom, and a member of the NRA. I think this was one good move for McCain.Thoughts?

I spent the good part of yesterday at the doctor's office and still have to go back next week. Thanks so much for all of your well-wishes. Please keep me in your prayers. The doc gave me something for the extreme nausea, but it makes me really sleepy. It is very true that every pregnancy is different. The official date is April 3rd! We're really excited. I prefer to be surprised at birth, but B wants to find out the baby's sex. I know he's hoping for a boy. We're attending the Fairy Tale Ball this weekend and the girls cannot wait! I found some cute little 'princess' ball gowns on ebay. They were so cheap! I will just go ahead and say I'm addicted to Ebay. Whew. I'm glad it's out in the open now.I plan on selling the girls' outgrown winter clothes on ebay next week, assuming I'm feeling up to it and can lay my hands on my camera. Some items will be reserved for Kids Market. If you are in the Bham area, and don't know about Kids Market, let me know and I can fill you in. It is tr...

Three Things

1. My Birthday is Friday. Isn't it weird how you love birthdays when you're little, but start to dread them when you get older?2. I'm craving some fried dill pickles and Ben & Jerry's.3. Three Things.
