I am playing with my cat with a laser light and a few thoughts go through my head. The cat only runs after certain light movements like when I move it diagnoally across his path. Maybe fish do the same thing, only react to certain types of movement under water. Also, this cat is never going to get the light but I wouldn't assume the cat doesn't know it. I think this cat just knows its all about the journey, not the goal.

sports

the purest team sport is baseball. The other team sports have big flaws, in mine eyes. Lets have a look-see:Basetball is fun to play and all, especailly street ball. But Professional basketball excessively exalts free throw shooting: how many games come down to free throw shooting? A lot, like 1 in 3 or 4 maybe. It is like a hole in the rules, like a tax loophole or something. And I know basketball doesn't make any pretense about it, almost like it has to elevate free throw so highly becuase shooting is the point of the game. It is just unfortunate that a game that is composed by so many athletic skills is often decided in such a limited and boring way, it even undermines the previous hour of the game. And that leads to soccer, a sport real fun to play. My beef with this sport is the same as my beef with basketball. How can the world's most popular sport be decided by free kicks? Soccer is more than scoring a goal so why is it reduced to it. It's because the world commu...

The soul of a man

The soul of a man is revealed when he gets hits hit in the mouth. That's what some say. For instance, sometimes when people talk about Mike Tyson they speak of a boxer with legendary intimidation skills but who was not as formidable to those less affected by appearances. An opponent may be less skilled than others in the ring but could fare better against Tyson because they were not frightened by his powerful frame and paralyzing glare. When Mike Tyson actually got hit in the mouth, critics say he fell pretty easily, casting questions on his soul for those who who believe in this saying.Does this apply to Obama? Could Sarah Palin have jacked him in the jaw? I don't think I would have thought about it unless Obama, in recent speeches, had ressembled a jaw jackee. I mean to say he is being challenged and he is responding with comments revealing poor judgement and even silver spoon condescendance (he reminded me of a high school prep the way he referred to Palin as "mother,...

an autobiographical sentence or so

I have observed I have a strong tendency to do things the hard way; there are many examples of this but I won't mention any. Instead I will give parts of me that make me do things the hard way. Its a combination of idealism, laziness, haste, decisiveness, perseverace, and inacurate prediction of results. I don't thnk anything will be done that will change this. I don't really care. I'm not there anyway.

In the market of second teir sports Micheal Phelps is definitely better at his sport than Tiger Woods hasbeen at his.Micheal Phelps looks like Poisidon.Yao Ming . . . .he is a basketball player from China that plays in the US and he is a huge force in the world in terms of marketing. but I have never seen anything impressive from him, I saw Joakim Noah shut him down one time. I don't think he is an all star in the NBA even though I think he is.

George Washington said to Barak Obama:"yes, but what have you done for me lately?"And Barak Obama said "And I am looking good while doing it!"I am in the middle of a 3 hour sleep over 45 hour period. but it actually has more to do with AT&T than being an intern; they woke me up while I was trying to get out of my parents phone plan and pretty much wasted an hour and a half of my rest time with a dropped call, call misdirection, and other maladventures. I couldn't get to sleep after it.

soccer and b-ball

I have a few opinions in the world of sports, soccer and basketball.I watched the euro finals yesterday and spain won. The trophy presentation was really great, I think american could learn a lot about ceremony and trophy presentations, it seems like the europeans do a better job of it. In america everybody just goes crazy like chickens with their heads cut off and there are millions of people on the field and it is pretty much chaos.I like the name soccer a lot better than the name football for that sport, don't ask me why. I know, everybody thinks it is because I am used to the name soccer, and maybe that's true.I think that the american olympic commitee does the basketball sport all wrong. They shouldn't have allstars playing against the world, they should let the nba team that wins that year's championship go to the olympics and see how they do. I bet they would do pretty good considering most of the players that play for the other teams to whom they actually lose can't pl...
