I voted. I voted because it is a sacred right here in America. I voted because for the last eight years have made me angry. I have never been this upset with the status quo. I have come to understand terms like the moral majority and liberal left wing. And they all make me sick. I first took notice of it starting to creep in last election. I voted for Barak Obama because I want change. Not just the kind of change that is given some credence as a hot point during a debate. I want change that is carefully thought out and pondered and backed up with a plan. I hear Christians talking about the evils of socialism. I too used to think that socialism was evil. I am a child of the “Cold War”. Why did the first century church have all things in common? What about the year of Jubilee in ancient Israel? Are these not similar to socialism? Have we not been given a free gift from God that we can never repay no matter how hard we strive and work in His Kingdom?
