So in my last update I said that school wasn't keeping me as busy as I expected. Well I shouldn't have said that because school is insanely busy right now! I have had so many tests, projects, and assignments due the past few weeks and so many left to do that its ridiculous! I have a bad case of senioritis and don't wanna do anything related to school anymore. I don't mind my teaching labs but I'm so over taking tests. Thankfully I only have to make it through 2 more weeks and then I have Thanksgiving Break! And then 1 more week after that and I'm done. My birthday is in less than 2 weeks and I'm kinda excited and kinda not. I'm not really sure what I'm doing for it this year other than going to see "Twilight." I am VERY excited however to be going to see that. Good birthday present. This will be the first birthday I've had where I haven't been with my parents so its kinda weird. I'm going home the next day but its still weird. I'm excited about Thanksgiving but ...

Well I guess its time for an update. Its been a busy past two months! School has been time consuming as usual but considering I'm taking 18 hours I really haven't been as busy as I expected to be. This semester is nothing compared to my Summer semester and is actually more relaxing. However, I'm actually having to take tests again and I don't like that part. But I only have 24 class days left and then finals. It is so weird to me. I registered for classes for the last time last week, and I registered for graduation. I am really looking forward to my internship and I really hope I have a good placement. Football season hasn't turned out as well as I or anyone else expected it to. But it happens. We've still got 5 more games so maybe they'll turn some things around. Regardless, it has been fun to go to the games with all my friends. I added two more SEC football stadiums that I've been to this year. I went to Alabama 2 years ago, LSU last year, and Mississppi State and Va...

*Beginning of Senior Year*

So I'm back in school for my last real semester as a college student and its kinda weird. I'm very excited about graduating but its affecting me differently than I thought it would. I'm trying not to think about leaving because its a sad thought. So I'm enjoying my time as much as possible! I started back classes with 18 hours...yeah I know, insane. A couple weekends ago Lynz and Erica had a Bachelorette party for Kelly and it was so much fun! We went to Amsterdams for dinner, which was amazing, even though we waited forever to be seated. Then we surprised Kelly with a sleep-over. We had a scavenger hunt that was pretty much awesome. Definitely some good stories from that one! Then Erin Dyle, Bekah, and Rachel threw another shower for Kelly. The cake was awesome and we had fun even though there were tornado sirens going off the whole time. Fun weekend!Last weekend Bekah, Megan Lee, and I drove up to B'ham for Kelly and Ryan's wedding. It was so pretty and laid back and w...

Well according to Erica I need to update. Its not gonna be detailed, but here it is:~Made all A's this summer!!! Yay! Its a first and about time~Went home for a little over two weeks: saw my aunt, her daughters and their children; went to visit my Grandad; went to Ashlyn and Tyler's wedding; read some really great books ("The Choice" was the best); spent great quality time with my family; did not fight with my brother for the first time in forever; overall it was great!~Home was great but I missed Bekah, Erica, and Lynz~Glad to be back in Auburn! Glad Erin Dallas is back. ~Not ready for classes :( but ready for football season!!! WAR EAGLE!~Ready to graduate but wondering how I'm gonna leave Auburn in less than a year :(Erica I hope this makes you happy! Its a pretty pathetic update but at least its something :)

Its magnetic!

Stupid title I know, but its all I could come up with and is the theme for my Summer program. We've been teaching the little children about attraction and magnetism and all that. They wanted to know why we're attracted to space so we've been working on a space ship and astronaut stuff and I've become such a nerd. Ok maybe just more of one than I already was. Anyway. I've been very busy with school but it hasn't been too terribly bad. I'm really gonna miss the kids but definitely not being at school at 7 am or some of the crazy parents. I know that in just a year I'll really be getting my fill of all that but right now I need a break. Thursday is our last day with the kids which is just sad and exciting at the same time. I have to say that this summer might possibly be the best summer I've had since I've been in college, which is really good since its my last one as a college student. The summer before I moved here was good because I had a really good job that I absolutely l...

Study break

So I haven't updated in more than a month so I guess I should. Actually I don't really have time to update and thats pretty much why I haven't. The past month has been crazy. So much has happened and changed in my life. I lost one of the most important people in my life that I miss everyday. My nanny was very special to me and things will never be the same now that she is gone. She has always had a way of bringing people together and even now that she's gone she's still doing that. I have gotten much closer to my cousins and uncle, and definitely closer with my parents and brother. A lot has also been put into perspective and I'm trying to make more of an effort with others. School is rough. I have never been so busy in my life and I'm finally getting used to this no sleep thing. I'm feeling a lot more comfortable with what I'll be doing when I have my own classroom so that is a big plus from the summer. I don't like being at school for 10+ hours a day though. Its not much...

Thanks to everyone for the prayers, thoughts, and words of encouragement after the loss of my grandmother. Her visitation will be tomorrow night (Saturday) 6-9 at Limestone Chapel in Athens, AL. The funeral will be Sunday at 1:30. It was very sudden and we've all been hit pretty hard but are hanging in there and know that she is now in a better place and that God is taking care of her. Keep praying for us, especially through the next few days.

Well I've survived two weeks of subbing. I'd hoped to sub more elementary classes but sadly I've had mainly high school and junior high. Which I hate. If there was any doubt that I had chosen the wrong grade levels to teach it isn't there anymore. I don't like big kids, little ones are sweet. I've had some good stories to tell about the experiences and a plus from it all is that now I have experience dealing with all grade levels. The bad thing about it is that my sleeping patterns are all messed up. I can no longer sleep later than 6. I seriously wake up on my own at 6 am and on a Saturday that just isn't cool. But at least I'm already prepared for getting up early this summer!! Still waiting on one grade to be posted, but so far all my grades are really good. I'm only disappointed about one but I know I did the best I could so I'm not worried about it. Just ready to get the last two real semesters over with and be done with school!!! Til I get my masters at least. My ...

Summer Break

So I'm officially done with finals which means my 2 1/2 week summer break begins! Sadly its not really a break because I'm going to be subsitute teaching most of the time. But I don't have to deal with the stress of papers or tests or anything so its still a break! Beth will be down for a few days week after next and I look forward to visiting with her some. Erin leaves next Saturday and I'm really sad. It won't be quite the same without her here. But thankfully Erin Z will still be here!! In two weeks I'll be home (hopefully) and will get to see my cousin and her husband and their new baby, thats really not so new now since he was born in like February. But I haven't seen him yet so he's still new to me. And I haven't seen his mom, my first cousin, since she got married over two years ago. So it should be a nice visit. Short update. Nothing fun or new other than no more finals or school for a few weeks. Time to go and start relaxing!

Well finals are almost done for me and most people are just now starting. I have 2 left, a really long and hard research paper, and then a reflection paper. As soon as those are done I will be somewhat stress free, for 2 weeks at least. I'm trying to substitute teach some during my break to make some money. But its pretty much keeping me from having any kind of summer break. I'm really sad about practically no real summer but the plus is that taking summer classes gets to me to graduation that much sooner! So all in all it will work out and be worth it. Well I really have nothing to update on, just procrastinating about writing a paper. Hope everyone has a good week! And good luck on finals if you're taking any!
