I am really tired but....

I did not want to wait to do this post. We had a terrific trip to Sharon's then on to Bowling Green, Ky. Mom did so well on the trip. She had her moments and so did I but all in all....David had to be back to Sharon's Sat night so he could be at dialysis at 5:00 this morning and be off the machine in time to go to worship services. He called about 20 min before his treatment was over to ask one of us to pick him up. He was having a rough time. His Blood pressure had dropped to 80/30 and his headache was really bad. Joe rode with Sharon to pick him up and drive his car home. He went to bed while we went to services. He slept most of the day. The hardest part for him about feeling so bad on this day was the fact that he was supposed to be one of the speakers today. He wanted to surprise me and Joe. The will still let him do it next week but we will not (in all probability) be able to attend. He is to get the results of his MRI tomorrow. Please remember him in your so...

family update

David had his MRI this evening. He is REALLY drugged according to him and Sharon. He told me when I called him that he was in the car and had to figure out how to get into the house. I did not know about the drugs and thought he was locked out. He just meant that he had to find a way to make his legs work. He is to get the results on December 1st.Mark went back to the doctor today. They are still running some tests on him. I asked if he screamed when they put needles in his back again. I would have. He said, "just a little"He leaves Tuesday for Nicaragua. I thought he was leaving on Thanksgiving Day until a few days ago. Sharon's battles are ongoing with her back and neck. She has not been complaining about it. Boys are back at home and from what I understand, behaving nicely compared to a little wild streak they had here. Tatiana is doing well. She is according to her Daddy, "acting as if nothing ever happened" so I guess they have a handle ...

I have my little buddies this weekend. Sharon and Mark went to Pennsylvania so she could be honored at a "BLACK TIE" affair for her accomplishments in Karate. She and Mark are also celebrating 10 years of marriage. So I get the boys! Yeah!!! I picked them up about half way on Wed evening. We have had such a good time so far.

Hi guys,I have some requests from you all:David has been having TERRIFFIC headaches. It started out only being on dialysis days but has strengthened and become more frequent. He was told today (he saw his doctor at dialysis) that his doctor is referring him to a neurologist. Please pray that he gets some relief for these headaches and sick feelings. Mark, my son-in-law has been having lots of backpain and was told he has a buldging disc. He has been taking cortizone injection and is on pain killers every day. They just doubled his dose. He is facing a couple of more tests (doctor's apts on Nov. 20th) and probable back surgery in December. He really needs your prayers. Sharon, my daughter, his wife, has had since a teenager, problems with neck and spine and it seems to be getting worse. She lost two nights sleep this week (at least) because it kept her awake. She also could use prayers.Mark is also scheduled to go to Nicaragua on November 27th with others for mission...
