Last night my grandfather passed away. As of right now I am too torn in the heart to comment any further.Perhaps tonight I will be able to post a few of my favorite memories about this great man. Please pray for us.

Once upon a time, on a farm in Virginia, there was a little red hen who scratched about the barnyard until she uncovered quite a few grains of wheat. She called all of her neighbors together and said, 'If we plant this wheat, we shall have bread to eat. Who will help me plant it?' 'Not I,' said the cow. 'Not I,' said the duck.'Not I,' said the pig.'Not I,' said the goose.'Then I will do it by myself,' said the little red hen and so she did. The wheat grew very tall and ripened into golden grain. 'Who will help me reap my wheat?' asked the little red hen. 'Not I,' said the duck.'Out of my classification,' said the pig.'I'd lose my seniority,' said the cow.'I'd lose my unemployment compensation,' said the goose.'Then I will do it by myself,' said the little red hen, and so she did. At last it came time to bake the bread.'Who will help me bake the bread?' asked the little red hen.'That would be overtime for me,' said the cow.'I'd lose my welfare benefits,' said the du...

5. Down Periscope4. Cowboys3. Last Man Standing2. Diggstown1. The burbsThis is in honor of my Uncle Charlie and Aunt Jill. They are both deceased now. Charlie died last June and Jill died two and a half years ago. They were two of the funniest people you could have ever known and they will always be deeply missed.

A Reason to Rejoice!

A few weeks ago our congregation looked headed for some difficult times. One of our members was on the verge of being withdrawn from. At the "11th hour" he repented of his sins. That night his wife came forward and repented as well. (Along with another member). This wonderful woman he asked for forgiveness for using her tongue inappropriately began using it for the Lord. She started inviting her family members to services. (Two families have came as a result). Both those families wanted to start a correspondance course. One of those famililies decided that a home study would be better and Thursday night we had a sister added to us. She (and her two daughters) have been to services many times. Her husband works 3 sundays a month has not been yet, but seems to be warming up to the idea of bible study. The diffilcult road disappeared and now things are going wonderfully. How truly great and wonderful God is!!!

Last night at 10:26 Noah William came into this world. He was a whopping 9lbs 10oz and 20.5 inches long. He is absolutely wonderful.Id be at the hosptial with him. But Josiah was running a high fever last night (101). The last thing Noah needs is to get whatever his brother has.We will have pictures posted soon. I do not know how to do it and Dawn will have to talk me through it.

What is wrong with people on the nast.

Why is it that we have forum after forum that ends up being nothing more than one argument after the next. We have group A that accuses group B of doing something sinful by adding to the word of God. Group B quickly replies that group A is sinning by adding their own traditional reasoning to the word of God. I have seen this over the last several years and have determined that if this were going on in a church, I could not allow my family to be a part of it. With that said, I am through with religious groups on the nast. If you wanna talk religion with me you can come to my own town and we can do it face to face.... I know that some might think that a gospel preacher is supposed to talk about the word of God all the time. I agree, but sometimes it feels like casting your pearls before swine when the heart is never listening.

Home Sweet Home

Well, we have officially survived our move. We have had several problems with our new home. The Fridge wouldn't fit were the Landlord said it would. The dryer quit after three days, the internet service was late 11 days. The phone service has been patchy at best. We still cannot get trash service. Our phone died in the move. We only recently found hangers. The house is really small. Let's see... I think that covers everything. We are happy to be here. We are really excited about working with the saints here. They have been really supportive and helful in so many different ways.If you are on my friends list you should see my new email address. If you are not on my friends list you probably aren't reading this anyways.
