HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

Hello to all & Happy Thanksgiving. I hope all are having a grand time with loved ones. I however am at home with my mother who is a little sick with the stomach bug but I think it won't last long. My father is doing good since from being in the hospital for blood clots. He had one in each leg and is to take it easy now these next few weeks. He was in the hospital for about a week I think. I don't know how he got them but he seems to be doing fine and he did good coming out of the hernia surgery about 3 weeks ago. He won't be going back to til the beginning of next year or so. Caleb is fine and working on school work & off today to spend time with the family. I hope I will feel better too. I think it's just the rush of things around here and my Crohn's. I hope to stay well. I love you all. Let me know how your thanksgving went. CHERISH THE MOMENTS & GOD BLESS

PADDINGTONBEAR.com 50 years ago today October 13th 1958, a man by the name Michael Bond introduced to us Mr. Paddington Bear. A long time ago when I was little I watched him on t.v. and enjoyed his stories of this bear. If you are familiar with Curious George then you'll love him! I miss seeing him on t.v. I believe you can find him on the link above and on youtube.com . I hope you find enjoyment from him and I hope the little kids enjoy him too! Have a wonderful day :)

I get to go off one of my medicines called Imuran. I'm still doing good with my Humira shots; just 1 shot every other weekend. Everything else has been pretty good. Love to all, ttyl ;)-

That's my birthday and I'll be 72 yrs. old. HA! actually 27 :)- Hope this year for me is better :) UPDATE: I start a new medicine called "HUMIRA" for my Crohn's Disease. I hope it works and it just got approved by my drug insurance. Alot of side effects but hope no bad ones for me will happen. I take them as shots every 2 wks. Please pray for me :) I love u all and will miss u during Singing School week. Say hi to everybody from me. later :)UPDATE: I and my mom had a good time at a coffee shop downtown. I had a Sausilto wrap, which is lunchmeat, sliced apples, honey mustard in a wrap. My drink was an Iced coffee with flavors of coconut and french vanilla. My mom had an Iced coffee also but hers was plain (I think). She ate a Tantalizing Turkey Sandwich. It had turkey, blue cheese on sourdough bread. The bread had a swirl on it which looked like a cinnamon swirl. Ha! ha! We both had some fruit with our meal and I had a Heavenly dessert. Chocolate brownie of course with other...

Mountains, Valleys, Oceans, Trails

As many of us travel life's road with it's many twists & turns, ups & downs it gets to be harder. How do we keep a steady pace on while traveling life's road when each mountain or valley or ocean seems so steep, deep, & rugged? Well I go see the doctor (6-25-08) and I'm not looking forward to it. (Maybe) start new medicine called Remicade or Humira, I believe. I feel like one of those people who says am I really going to make it?font> On the other hand, I'm going back into my drawings, picture taking, music writing & other enjoyable crafts. I've heard from others say they like my ART WORK :) I've been trying to do things that keep me happy, busy with my hands & my mind. I & my family are not going to the Singing School this time around. My health is too bad & the others have got to work. I will miss all very much & be thinking about you dearly. Tell everyone I said, "HELLO" and that I miss them & hope to see them next time :) The doc's a...

Over Memorial Day weekend my family & I enjoyed going to Bowling Green, KY. MY FAMILY REUNION! The smell of honeysuckle in the air. How beautiful the countryside looked. Listening to all the stories that each one had on each other. Looking at all the many photos of what we'd looked like back then & out Great Grandparents. Eating "good" food. Just remembering the good ole times! I love how KENTUCKY can just put you in that 'good feeling' mood :)Do you remember the Good Ol' Times? Share :)
