It was good to finally go home. We ate dinner at about 4pm, it is now 11pm and I am still stuffed. Thank you, Mommy for all of your hard work. :-)I got straight A's, so that's good. But I did get one A-, which ruined my 4.0. I know that's pretty nit-picky, but it's still annoying.I am NOT looking forward to going to work at Walmart on black Friday. Rhonda's doing much better. She still needs to take it easy because she gets out of breath easily. She and Quinton are staying up at my parents house for a while so Mom can help her out with Quinton. And my mom is like a walking nurse's station... oxygen meters, oxygen machine, blood pressure machine, stethoscope, nebulizers... everything Rhonda could need. :-)I hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving!

I just picked Rhonda up from the hospital. In addition to pneumonia and bronchitis, the infection had also spread into her kidneys and blood. Fun. She's feeling better, but still coughing and easily winded. We are getting ready to head up to my parents house for a few days. Thanks for the prayers!

Alfred took Rhonda to the E.R. tonight. She has been sick for the last few days with what we thought was a cold and the flu at the same time. After thinking she was getting better, she took a turn for the worse this evening. The doctors at Adena diagnosed her with pneumonia (in both lungs) and are keeping her overnight for observation. Please pray that she has a quick recovery.

I posted a story that I wrote about Zion for my Creative Writing: Non-Fiction class (memoir writing) in one of my rooms. If you're interested feel free to read it. But it's long, so don't feel obligated. :-) It's basically true, I just blended together the details of two different hospital stays in order to simplify the story. It's not completely done yet, so don't mind the punctuation, grammar, and wording errors.

So Allison, Cal, Quinton, and I went to Steak N Shake last night after services because they are having a "4 meals under $4" deal. I got a Buckeye Sippable Sundae, and when the waitress brought it over, she promptly spilled it all over my shirt and lap. I laughed, and got my Milkshake free.Good times.

So here are some recent pictures of my son. Well, he's not really my son, he's my brother, Zion. But I love him like a son! I'm finally going home for a visit on Monday, and I'm excited to see everyone up there in the great white North. And stealing from her and him, here's my playlist for you. Enjoy.

I aced my Great Books: Ancient Greece final. One down, several more things to go...Still left:-Short research paper for Great Books.-Finish project on _A Thousand Splendid Suns_ for Women & Literature, and respond to a few other short stories-Finish writing my 15 page (at least) memoir for Creative Writing: Non-Fiction-Prepare for and take Interviewing final on Thursday, 11/20Then this quarter will be done!!!I love the quarter system. I get sick of classes pretty quickly, and semesters are so long they KILL me. This quarter started September 8th and ends next week. I only started to get sick of the classes a couple of weeks ago. Oh, yeah. It's getting cold and I am not happy.
