So far it looks like this I have to work normal hours on Thanksgiving and the Friday after...this is 3 thanksgivings in a row that I have worked...and for someone who told me I would get the next holiday off when I worked labor day...my boss sure seems to be the BIGGEST HYPOCRITE EVER. Something else I have noticed is that Christmas and NY are on thurs so I might just get stuck working those holidays too. Sad to say they better pay me for time and a half this time otherwise he WON"T like me when I get through with him and this HALF RATED ORGANIZATION....HA! Off that soapbox. Next week ought to be fun for some people esp. my wife...she gets the whole week off. Weds she is going to pick up her sis and going to hang out at the museums in Houston and then Thurs. the in-laws come to eat TURKEY...yum yum...and I am watching the cowboys. Friday I got home from work and then couldn't wait to open the stuff I had got. I got season 5 of Full House from my sis in law, season 6 from my in laws, and 7 and 8 from my wife. I also got NHL 09 for PS2 and the fifth season of One Tree Hill and Beyond Belief: The Josh Hamilton Story and the 2 short circuit movies(don't laugh that movie was the BOMB in the 80's). Then the biggest surprise of them all came when my mom and sister came down(it was good to see my sister back to herself). We went to Pappadeaux and then back to the house. We only had about 15 trick or treaters but they all came in one big group...there was some kids costumes that scared me(Just kidding). Saturday nothing really we went to the mall for about 3 hours and showed my sister the new place that is like build a bear but with cars(yes you read that right). So far I am having a gr8 bday Jessica brought me to work and got me starbucks(chai tea with vanilla; tastes like pumpkin pie in a cup) and donuts. I think nothing about it until someone(not mentioning names) comes into southside holds the door and all you smell is cigarette smoke. This is ONE of my biggest pet peeves with Christians and esp. younger ones they walk into church with tattoos, reaking like cigarette smoke, and guys with earrings. Now you can call me OLD FASHIONED all you want but one place I do NOT want to have to put up with WORLDLY pleasures is church for crying out loud. So I kinda got one of my bday gifts early and have been having a BLAST(beating) I mean teaching my wife how to play...Fuzball that is. What she got was a 5 in 1 set that includes air hockey, ping pong, fuzzball, Basketball, and pool. Oh and get this now we have a sports authority just around the corner from us and I don't have to go to humble to find a sports store anymore...HA! I kinda got an early bday gift from my best friend early this year...a dvd set of Audrey Hepburn movies...now why he did that I don't know. The one thing I hear everyday from one of the show hosts here at Bizradio Mike Norman is that offshore drilling won't work...you see he is the typical economist because oil prices went down when they said they would start drilling more offshore.
