First day went great!

Second day...another story. No tears but she did ask some questions about the amount of time she has to be there. Chris was with me, again and I am so glad. This is all very hard for me. I am having to focus on getting everything ready and keeping myself composed...I am tired!Make a Smilebox postcard

Well, for all of those who didn't think I would be able to do this without crying....IN YOUR FACE! I did just fine thank you very much! Chris has been setting my mind straight for a few weeks now and it worked! He is so evil. He knows just what to say to make a person forget about about being emotional. If he only tried crying every-once-in-a-while. It is good for the soul. He has no idea what he is missing out on.I made him get Evan ready last night with her backpack and clothes because he knows how to say things so that she won't get anxious. And....it worked. She didn't cry at all. She was so excited and it made me feel better that she didn't cry. So, we got her there and then we left. Actually there wasn't any crying from any of the kids in her class. That helped too. I made it out of the school too without crying...well, okay one or two tears. So now we are at home and we have the 2 boys. Today is Ty's birthday so we are going to get his soccer shoes for his first practice today....

Nothing new really.

Man, I am bad at posting. I read everyone else's stuff but I forget to post my owns stuff. We just got back from a week of vacation with the whole family...meaning me, Chris, and the kids. We had a blast. It wasn't anything big but the best part was having everyone together. I added a slide show in with this entry so i hope it works. I am still not good at figuring these things out. Not much has changed around here. Chris has one year left of residency and we are so excited! Ty is getting old enough to want to do boy stuff now so daddy is having a blast fishing, wrestling, golfing, playing ball and all kinds of things. I am not very athletic...shocking, I know, but I try. Evan does not understand why he doesn't want to play princess. She gets very upset when "all they do is wrestle", in her own words. So momma gets girly with her and thanks to the "heart of a Grandfather"...grandad does too. We just registered her for Kindergarten so we will see how it...

Life lesson learned VERY WELL!

So yesterday was "Wadies Class" better known as "Ladies Class". Ty has learned so much by going to ladies class with me. He LOVES to hold the door open for the ladies as they walk in and as they exit. Daddy has been teaching him very well. Yesterday my pride came to a screeching halt as we were driving to our lunch date with the "wadies". Fudruckers was the choice for lunch that day, thanks to Sandy gentry. Nothing wrong with Fudruckers, I LOVE IT. Fudruckers was one of mom's favorite hamburger places when we lived in Conroe. This is where the Fudruckers choice gets a little hairy...As we were driving to the restaurant I was making every moment with my boys count (sissy was at preschool) by using "teachable moments" to learn life lessons and Bible lessons. I can tell Ty really is not into the lessons for the day because he all the sudden stops me, cuts em off is more like it. "Mommy, where are we going to eat with the wadies?"...

It has been a while!

Well, now that the whole family is well again, I will give a few of my "downtime minutes" to pleonast! The kids get sick so often around our house and Chris always seems to catch what they have. Growing up when my brother and I were sick my dad ALWAYS got it too. Mom would always dodge the bullet. Well, I think I know why now! How else is the house suppose to function while everyone is throwing up and pooping? Someone has to be well in the house to clean it all up. I am following in mom's footsteps...yet again. I have managed to keep clear of the illnesses that have been festering in our home. It feels like we live in this cesspool of germs. I am very particular about the cleanliness of my home but I cannot figure out why the kids keep getting every "bug" that comes into town. I am sure that having a husband that comes home with germ infested scrubs and then sits in my clean chair has nothing to do with it. And I am sure the preschool kids Evan goes to s...

So I tried to upload a picture and if you look below, that is what happened! Do not make fun of me...I am trying not to look STUPID but I am totally aware that the picture size below is NOT helping the matter. Don't worry, I will not post another picture until someone tells me how to make it smaller.
