My 5 month stint of being a lunch manager for Stonewood is complete! Thank goodness! I have been moved back to the home office to continue my job there and to fill in for a friend of mine that will be leaving on maternity leave in December through Feb. 4th. So that is super exciting and good news and makes life in the Kelly house a bit more enjoyable for all. Christmas gift shopping is about 85% complete. I am so excited to be almost done and it not be Thanksgiving yet! Baby Claire is growing up so quickly already and is so much fun. I love being an Aunt...its amazing! Matt is good...working like a crazy man but none the less he is enjoying his job at the bank and of course The Circle G. Oh and don't forget the weekly round(s) of golf...... So overall things are good. We seem to have had a few bumps in the road over the last month but most of those bumps have been resolved and were easy to get over. One of those bumps was not being able to go on our mini vacation ... 2008-11-12 http://www.pleonast.com/user/lp?l=5&entryID=587655 So since we had season tickets this past season Matt (and myself) are super into the ALCS playoff games. We were lucky enough to score tickets to the first game (although the Rays lost that one). It was an awesome atmosphere to be in and a memory that I know we'll remember forever. Things are looking up at work...I just have to make it through the next month and I will be back to my old job with Stonewood...which I have been working for for 4 years now. Hard to believe. Matt's 25th birthday is coming up soon so we decided that since we didn't take a vacation that didn't involve other people this year that we would head over to St. Pete for the weekend. Hotel rates are really low this time of year and its still warm enough to be on the beach. We are staying at an old hotel thats been redone so I think it will have a lot of character. Both of us are really excited to just be checking out for a of couple days. We have both been working super hard and are just spent. In other ... 2008-10-15 http://www.pleonast.com/user/lp?l=5&entryID=580921 i had a great breakfast with some awesome girlfriends i haven't seen much of lately and really enjoyed my time with them and the laughs we shared. i had a good time with my family today at my cousin's football game...go brandon bears. my cousin Logan is 14 and is shorter than 5 feet and plays center...so cute! i mean so manly... i laughed really loud today at my scrooge mom and scrooge sister who announced they already want to put up their christmas trees and will probably have them up at thanksgiving. all due to a precious baby girl named claire. i have enjoyed a nice saturday night at home grilling out and watching football with my husband and my dogs. life is good. I love that I have friends that enjoy it so much but I don't know if its because I've lived here for so long or because my life doesn't get to stop for a week to see people (some in 5 years) that don't live here but lectures week drives me insane! I just have to giggle to myself when I hear the announcements made, to me its a little ridiculous. I know...I'm a horrible person. On a fun note, Matt won the golf tournament with my bro-in-law, uncle, and kyle hall (well only after their handicap was added in). We got a gift card to Outback. That works for me. .............I think I'll enjoy lectures when my friends start coming into town. I'd like to make a selfish prayer request if I could. I have been dealing with some health problems since Aug and have been seeing doctors and have had many tests run. I haven't had any answers and I feel as though I am getting progressively worse. Without going into detail, I doubt that it is life threatening but it has effected me physically and emotionally. I pray everyday for strength to keep dealing with it because I know that there are people dealing with things that are even beyond my imagination and obviously I can still function. So sorry to not post forever and then throw this out there but prayers would be greatly appreciated even if they just give me patience and no knowledge of what is wrong.
