And they showed many places but these are a few that I took note of--- Lincoln Theater, Gettysburg, Myrtles Bed & Breakfast in LA., St. Louis cemetary, and the hospital in Waverly Hills in Louisville, Ky. Has anyone ever been to these places? How bout the ghost tours in Savannah GA? I am intrigued with these things and really wonder if these ppl really have seen things or felt things or are they just making the story? Mr. Calvert once told me a story and from the way it sounded he believes in ghosts. What are your thoughts? Have you ever felt the presence of one, or seen one? I cannot believe that she is 3 I know many of you have heard me say that over and over again. I don't know why she has to grow so fast. She is a wonderful girl with such a caring heart and loves to love. She hugs everything and everybody just about, she will go up to children of her age or not and ask thier name and hug them and start to play with them. Lydia looks like both of us but favors her father the most. With the blue eyes and that curly hair. I dreamed of a child with curly hair. She is everything I could of hoped for, I pray that the Lord will keep her healthy and strong. We treasure every day with our little girl. Although I miss the baby I do enjoy every day that she shows more and more of her personality and how we get to do things together. Most of you know that I work in pediatrics and I see ALOT of things, which I cannot elaborate on but, alot of nights I come home and thank the Lord for the health of my child, my family and pray for other children that I have been privy to thier homelife situations. Matter of fact about a mnth ago when I got to work the whole office was upset and the police was leaving with a family that a child had been abused by her father, this is VERY DISTURBING TO ME as probably many others. But, on Oprah this show was about that abuse,molestation, porn on internet mostly, and exploitation of children some of the children were in diapers with pacifiers and older in thier early teen years. So do you feel it is deceptive to your child to talk, introduce and such these such characters from a christian standpoint when they are not real(we all wish sometimes they were tho :), well at least I do)? Do you remember when you moved into FC? Such anticipation, excitement, nervous, scared, tears, happy.......... I remember it so well. I went to my old room and looked in the closet and still on the wall is what I wrote over 10 years ago. I loved reading it again. Decorating the room and seeing the new roomates and all, it was just a great time. All the hubbub of the new beginning. Then today Don T. did such a good lesson to the 702 ppl in attendance. I am about to start the 3rd one. I will say that it is slow but a good read and once you start you have to finish them. I have heard mixed reviews of the book---some have said that they cannot put it down--NOT ME. It starts out kinda slow them picks up and then goes slow agai--does anyone else feel that way? Yes, I can't wait for the movie and will be excited to go see it with a bunch of my friends from work, we already took the day off--sad huh? So who is in this with me? And what are your thoughts of the book and the characters and such? Lydia went with me and I never dreamed I would be waiting to see a counselor for 2 1 /2 hours, and what was worse is the ppl who signed in after me were taken before me---how does that make any sense? Lydia was wonderful to my surprise, we played with activities, she talked to several of the other ppl waiting and told this one girl that she was pretty--how sweet! Anyway, my name was called I collected my things and followed the counselor--- when in her office, I stated to her that don't be surprised if Lydia is not her perfect angel self in here since we have just sat in the waiting room for 2 1/2 hours(hint hint). Anyway, after talking I only need 3 classes to finish and apply for my medical classes!!!!!! I was in SHOCK I said only 3 classes? So now i need to come up with 350.00 by july 22nd to get started(any suggesstions on quick money)--LOL. Loans are out ... 2008-07-08
