Update on life

I guess it's time i update since i haven't said anything about whats going on for a while. My great uncle is doing better he was able to sit up the other day and stand for a minute but that took everything out of him. Everytime i call he seems like he feels better but he keeps telling me to come home soon so that kind of worries me because he always tells me to stay and not miss any school. My dad has spent alot of time with him the past few weeks and he said that hes not being a very good patient to the nurses and that he just keeps saying just wait till my two boys get back and they'll move me you just leave me alone haha. (hes talking about me and my cousin) So it makes me feel like i need to be there but i know i need to be here too. So your continued prayers on his behalf are much appreciated. If you haven't heard yet i got an internship for next summer. These aren't the easiest to come by in my field especially a good one. Mr. Dean was gracious enough to give me one working for ...

Men's Bible Study

This week we will be meeting at my house. Call if you need directions or check the facebook event. Thanks to everyone for your questions if they decide to continue the study with us we will slowly ask them all if possible. We are apparently meeting with the First counselor to the Bishop and his assistant. (Some of the top dogs of the church) I think we got pushed on up the ladder due to a phone discussion i had with the "Bishop". Please pray for our study that it may be successful. Also please remember my Great Uncle. He is doing some better but they still don't know how long he will hold out. Thanks to you all. Is there anyone or anything we can be praying for?

LDS Faith

So the men's bible study has decided to invite some men from the LDS faith (Mormon) to come and speak to us. We are going to listen to what they believe and then ask them questions about why they believe that. This is the reason i am writing this post. I am going to ask what are questions you have about the LDS faith so that we might ask them to tell us their answers. My hope is that we might be able to get them to question why they believe what they believe and do further studying and maybe find the truth. So if you have any questions about the LDS faith please post them on here or send them to me privately and i will pass it along to them. Thank you so much. Lets all pray that much good can come out of this. Also on a side note my great uncle is not doing well at all. He is basically bed ridden and has been given about 2 weeks or so so if you would please pray for him and his wife. They are basically my grandparents so should he take a turn i will be on the next flight home to be wi...

As school begins

I just want to wish everyone a good semester and also remind you of a few things before we begin. My dad has always told me something every time I’m going to be away for a while. He always tells me "don't forget who you are." With this in mind think of who you are. Are you a Christian? If you are then this year we must all do our best to stand up for the truth and not let anything sway us. We can not let ourselves get caught up in worldly pleasures. It is so easy for one to simply go with the crowd. As we begin this semester we must know who we are and not forget it. If we go along to just that one party or take just that one sip of alcohol or start to dress immodestly because its what all the other people are wearing or if we just don’t go to church because we’re tired or just simply don’t want to go we are ruining our relationship with God and we are ruining our influence with others. It doesn’t matter if you’re the “coolest” kid at A&M or not. What trul...

It's so great to be back

I have never appreciated being in College Station as much as i have these past two weeks. Getting to spend time with so many young christians is rewarding in so many ways. I have enjoyed spending time with the new students as well as the old. It still amazes me the love shown by all the brethren here to one another especially the new members. I'd also like to give a special thanks to him for helping me see things that i hadn't seen before. I hope everyone has a good semester.

So i passed all my classes thankfully. I got an A in physics, a B in Ethics in engineering and Theature arts, and a C in Calculus 3 and Statistics. I was really worried about the last two but i made it. I made it home with out any problems except my dad pushed his truck to hard pulling my sisters travel trailer so they had to take it to the shop when we got here. I hope everyone else passed all their classes and made it home safely and that i see you all at survivor or in August.

I miss being able to just read for fun. I finally have time to play my guitar again. And while im still not any good i enjoy being able to just play what i want even if my neighbors hate me now haha. I hope everyone else is doing well. Let me know how your lives are going.
