Baby is fine!

Thank you for all the prayers!Baby Kaboom is very active! We heard it move and it had a very strong heartbeat. The doctor says this happens sometimes even in healthy pregnancies and we get to find out what it is December 17th so I'm very excited to find out before Christmas! Thanks again!

Baby Kaboom

We asked Landon what the baby's name was. First he said baby girl and that it was a sister then he said the name was Kaboom.Ha!I'm hoping for a boy but I'll be happy either way. Regardless, the name will not be Kaboom.

Voting

Well today Marcus and I voted early at the Temple Terrace Public Library. We figured going on a thursday at 11am would be perfect....wrong! We were there for 2 hours and 45 minutes. The biggest, most annoying problem:USF was sending bus loads of students there and most of the line was made up of them...ugh.Oh well at least we did it. I never knew I could stand up and not get sick...thank goodness!

Our exciting 2 days...

Well yesterday I was feeling really sick and apparently not doing a good enough job watching Landon. He stood up in our kitchen chair to measure something with his measuring tape and the chair fell and his head hit, with lots of force, the edge of the table about 2 feet away. His forehead swelled immediately with a huge line through it. It was a 2 inch long goose egg with a cut through it but didn't bleed outwardly.I called the doctor and took him right in. They checked him out and asked me questions. I said he did not vomit or loose consiousness or act confused and since the answer was no, they said to watch him for 24 hours.Needless to say I didn't sleep well last night and I checked on him at 8 am. When I got in his room, there was blood all over his face, his hands, and 2 pillows. I freaked out. My mom came over cleaned him up, we called the doctor and took him right in. The doctor could see blood still coming from his nose. The doctor cleaned it out with a swab and pu...

I think I spoke too soon...

I'm not doing very good. I hate to complain but with Landon I was never sick! This time I have mom and grandma watching Landon a lot and them helping clean my house! Ugh. I've now lost 14 lbs. We'll just see how it goes. Maybe after this trimester it will get better?I hope.

Update on pregnancy

Thank you to all of you for your congrats! This pregnancy is very different from the last because I am sick 24/7. It is unfortunate but I know it won't last forever. No food sounds good to me and I feel sick all the time. I have tried Zofran which didnt help and now I'm on phenergan which knocks me out. Ugggh.I was just wondering what any of your pregnancies were like and what kinds of medication helped for you.Hopefully this stage won't last much longer and I can enjoy Landon again. Thanks again!_________________________________________________________________Update...Thanks for all your advice. I'm finally starting to feel better! Yay!

Last nights VP Debate

Regardless of what political party you are, I think last night should have shown America which ticket is going to best suit our country from a moral standpoint. I think both candidates did a good job stating their views and being professional but it goes beyond that for Christians.Buddy Payne preached a very powerful lesson on moral and how important it is for Christians to pray for those in office and to vote to elect the best candidates. He did not endorse one specific party but he did encourage us to research the moral views of each candidate. Amen! After the debate last night and doing hours of research on my own, it is simple for me to understand how we really need to pray for this upcoming election.I personally thought Sarah Palin did an excellent job. While both candidates may have averted some questions, she really stood out to me. I appreciate her stand on abortion and all the moral issues.I was just curious to know what everyone else thought. I am not here to ste...
