Tax Class

I have been studying for a pretty intense State Exam that will take place in the middle of December. I am in class a minimum of 6 hours a week and study 1-3 hours per hour in class. Some weeks I study more than others. Anyhow, if I pass, I will be licensed tax preparer. The State of Oregon is the only state in the US that requires tax preparers to pass a test to have a license. In California you have to have a license, but you simply pay for it. I am still working for H & R Block, but if I pass the test...I will make more money!!! Yay!

New Job???

This summer we went on a two week vacation. When we got home and Ron returned to work he discovered that the union had voted to accept a 17% pay cut because the company is struggling, blah, blah, blah. Anyhow, this has been a bit of a crisis for us! Since then Ron has applied for three jobs and interviewed for two. He has survived down to the final phase with a job at BOEING. We will be making some big decisions in the near future. And have been praying for wisdom and for guidance! We are so very thankful that we do not have to WORRY over this crisis, and also that we have HOPE for a future without ever a moment of crisis!!!!AMEN!!!
