Tuesday was asking day at the college. There was plenty of drama. As far as I know, everything went fairly well. I do know of a few girls who decided to go solo and a few guys who are being tortured because nobody asked them. (It's actually quite funny to watch them) Thursday I am going to watch the Newsies with some college students and a friend of mine who wanted to put together a medley from it for the talent show. Friday night our Moyer clan is going to see Phantom of the Opera. I know there is a huge group of college students going, but we probably won't end up near them. It should be really exciting. We left Friday morning from the college and had about a two hour drive to the dock and got lost along the way. We actually ended up stopping for directions at a fire department, but we weren't able to take the fire truck without them noticing. We got to the dock and had to wait a while for all of Crew 120 to show up. We met Ship 555 and then took off (on a motor boat). As soon as we got there we had lunch, set up our tent, and went down to the beach. We came back and had dinner (taco chicken) and met the other troops and crews. After a while of talking, some strategic card game thinking, and several bug bites, we went to bed. I got up really early the next day. I had breakfast, went down to the beach again and had to wait for Caleb and Caitlin to go sailing. I finally got to sail the Hobbie (sorry for any misspelling) and I had the honor of being captain! I think I actually enjoy the Hobbie more than the Mariner. On Friday, Luke and I will be going to Caya Costa with our venture crew. This is the first year I will be going, so I am really looking forward to it. This morning in chapel Mr. Walker anounced it and all the guys went wild. On top of that, all the classes until five were cancelled and girls were allowed in the dorms to help the guys move. It was a lot of fun... minus several blisters. Also, I got to see the begining of the Arete : Psi Beta game (does anyone know the final score?).
