Irresponsible.

Yes I was totally not a very responsible adult this past week. My sister suckered me in to reading the Twilight saga. Yes, I read all four books in one week. No, I dont have any other responsibilties like keeping house, or cooking dinner, or TAKING CARE OF MY KIDS!!! I was just plain ol' irresponsible. - And I dont feel all that guilty despite my lack of self-control. Sean has been a little bit better handling temptation. He only read 3 books in one week. (He really is a much faster reader than I- He almost reads twice as fast as me.) - So all in all it was a good series, well, better than thought. I will most likely see the movie in November. And last Tuesday night I tried to cut Sean's hair like Cedric Diggory's new look, only to cut it too short in the back and therefore It looks very much like a cut out of the 1990's... Now he really looks like John from TMBG. I keep trying to tell him that he still looks cute and that I always had a ...

$1.50 a slice.

Ok, so I was kidnapped saturday at a wedding reception to go and cut the giant wedding cake! I now know why the place we were at charges $1.50 a slice to cut the cake! It was such a disaster!! People were lined up for slices before we even had the top layer off! BACK PEOPLE!!!! The woman with me kept saying "keep them small." It was a 7 (GIANT) layer cake! Even when you try to cut them small they are big. By the end I was just chunking the cake on to plates. I wasnt pretty! I cant believe how Crazy people get when they see cake being cut. YOu would have thought these people had never eaten before... BACK PEOPLE!!!Next time - ask me in advance to be the cake cutter. I will be better organized.

The Crazy Life.

I really live a very crazy life. I dont really try to. It just happens. The boys are crazy. My house at the moment is crazy! I am talking 2 and 1/2 weeks worth of kid dirt on my white tile kitchen floors... And I am out here in my front yard on the internet... I feel very irresponsible. But that is the bad choice that I have made for today. I will feel the consequence of it later. Jojo starts preschool next month. Summer Bible School(which Sean and I head up) starts the 30th. And my ladies bible class is the next week. (btw- the book The New Eve is what I am teaching out of- it is really challenging. - for all of you who have been blogging about singles and marriage and babies... it will challenge you.)Eli is doing better potty training and I haven't had any #2 diapers in a week!!!!! :)I met a lady at Trader Joe's the other day who had two little boys the same age as mine and would you believe... her oldest is named Josiah and her youngest is named Elisha!!!Anyway, despite my c...

Home today!

My dearest Pleonast friends, So today I was released from the hospital. I am so happy to be home!- My surgery was on Friday and lasted 12hrs. into Saturday. It was alittle more challenging of a surgery than they had anticipated. All went very well though and I am recovering very well. So it ended up they were able to repair my aorta and replace my pulmonary artery with a mosaic poricine valve(pig valve). They also bound my upper chamber with some sort of wrap and they also performed a maze procedure to help prevent atrial arrythmia. I am just so thankful to God that everything went so well! He is so awesome and mighty!I also want to thank everyone of you for prayers on my behalf. How humbling it is, and how fantastic, that God has given us brothers and sisters who love so deeply for one another. Thank-you Thank-you Thank-you!!! You are all in my prayers! I pray that our Lord will strengthen and uplift you all! I love you so much!

A request from Mr. Mulan

Most of you do not know me, and I apologize to all others. I am Sean, the fortunate husband of Sara Ann (McCracken to all you FC alumni). I come seeking favors...Sara is scheduled to have heart surgery on Feb. 8 and I humbly ask each of you to lift her up in prayer during this time. (FYI: Sara is feeling OK and this is not an emergency surgery, but they need to repair some of the work from previous ones.) If you all would please pray and pass this request along the FC grapevine, I will be in your debt. We have no doubt in the goodness of our God, but He does tell us to bring our petitions to Him, and I am sure that he prefers surround-sound. I thank you in advance...may God bless you abundantly in all that you do!

What do you want for Christmas?

So here is what Josiah my 4yr old is asking Santa for... "A pencil box, the one with the cars with hands... you know at the Hello Kitty store.." So that is what he is getting from Santa... LOL... Eli my 2 year old is asking santa for a "Big boy bike"... that is a bike with training wheels... He can't say B's so it sounds like "Dig Doy Dike" So Santa is bringing them what they asked for... and some stocking stuff. The only thing they are getting from Mommy and Daddy are toy cars from the movie "Cars" which were actually supposed to be from us to Jojo on his birthday in Nov. but he got so many things from other people we saved them for Christmas... LOL I feel like a bad parent in some ways... But they are sooooo spoiled I just dont want them too get too much.Anyway... if you have kids... what are they asking for and what are you getting them?

I'm goin' to Kansas City... Kansas City here I come!

This Thursday Sean and I are taking the boys to Kansas City and then down to Springfield to see Sean's Grandparents. Josiah is soooo excited! We are going to visit some close friends from Chruch in Raytown. I am very excited to see everyone I cant believe its been over ten years since my family left and moved to CA. I know its going to be so weird seeing people aged. Somehow no matter how well you know that they have aged 10 years like you... you can never fully realize it untill you actually see them. Some people will probebly be 45 yrs or 60years in my mind forever no matter how old they get. Is that just me or does everyone do that? Well anyway, we are getting excited...oh! and Sean and I celebrate our 5 year wedding anniversary on the 14th! Wow! 5 years went by fast!!! I hope our years to come (Lord willing) are just as wonderful!
