Texas defensive coordinator Will Muschamp won't be going anywhere except the head coach's office in a few years. The Longhorns named Muschamp as Mack Brown's successor this afternoon at a press conference that featured athletic director DeLoss Dodds, Brown and Muschamp. Dodds emphasized that Brown would be remaining as the head coach for a number of years. "There is no timetable," Brown said. Game #1 Alabama @ Arkansas A clinic was held as to show how to run the football with Alabama as the guest speaker while Arkansas was gracious enough to host. Beautiful game. If I had to nitpick and try to say what Alabama did wrong, I think that around the end of the 3rd quarter they allowed the Arkansas defense to mess with their heads and tempers flaired a bit.
