I'm wearing short sleeves!!!

So far, we really like San Antonio! Even if we hated it, I would love it because I am wearing a short sleeve shirt right now and it is below freezing where I moved from!!!!!!!!Ryan likes his job okay. He says the patients aren't as sick as they were in Indy (he is dissappointed about that). He will probably get bored here; he likes the trauma. Maybe I will have to go start a gang fight here to keep him happy!I am having to get used to apartment living again. I thought for sure the people above us must weigh a thousand pounds, but I met her and she is tiny. I don't know how she makes so much noise! I think she just likes to rearrange her furniture every night (well, early morning-2 am). But, it was nice when our living room light was broken and we didn't have to fix it ourselves!!! And of course, the whole getting the apartment for free thing helps me like it!Ryan is very dissappointed in the lack of rock climbing here. We can't find anywhere to climb. There aren't eve...

We've found a home!!!

We only have a few days left of being homeless! I'm really enjoying visiting all my family, but we are ready to have our own place. Ryan isn't as excited as me...ya know he's the one that is about to have to go back to work. We are moving to....San Antonio!WooHoo!!!! Our apartment is on the north side right in the middle of the medical center (I think). It is on Medical Drive. We move in Friday, and Ryan doesn't have to start until Tuesday. I don't know if we're going to do tourist stuff or just find and shop at the grocery store. I guess I am going to be going back to work, too. We've been eating out a lot, and my Granny won't let me do too many dishes. It's not just Reegan that is getting spoiled!

9 DAYS

Yup, 9 days and we're out of Indy!Nope, we don't know where, we just know out of Indy!I was really enjoying the looks on peoples' faces when they asked where we were moving to and I responded by shrugging my shoulders. I've been trying to decide which term I like best, "Vagrant, Hippie, Drifter, Gypsie, or just Crazy." I can't decide. I am getting a little tired of that look now. The excitement has worn off. People have just realized we are weird. Now I am getting curious where we are going. I thought we would have heard from the agency by now, but no. We can go to San Antonio for sure working nights, but that (hopefully) will never ever happen again! We are hoping something opens up in San Antonio (day shift) or Austin. If not, we will have to go to Dallas or Houston. Oh well. It's nice to know that Ryan can have a job pretty much anywhere we want to move. The agency isn't in a hurry to tell us anything because we aren't starting until the first of November...

Two weeks

and we'll be headed to Texas! Well, we might be headed to Kentucky for a little vacation before heading to Texas. Where in Texas, you ask? Well, we still don't know for sure. Ryan is waiting to hear back from the agency. Somewhere warm! Cities I would like the agency to send us to:San Antonio, TX; Austin, TX; St. Louis, MO; Lexington, KY (so we could climb without camping); Hawaii; Alaska (but only in the summer); Australia; somewhere in Oregon; El Paso, TX (Ryan wants to go there, so I guess I would follow); Chattanooga, TNDo you live in a city that is so cool we should try to travel to?

We're homeless

And loving it! We did get rid of our house finally. Yes, it was three weeks ago and I am just now posting. We are staying above Ryan's parents garage until Ryan's contract is up at the hospital he is at right now. Yesterday he talked to the agency we will work for next, but we haven't decided where for sure we are going. I am getting really anxious to find out. I am really excited about going somewhere new, meeting new people, seeing new places. I hope we like travelling at least for a little while, so we can see at least a few different cities. We have a whole list of cities we want to go to. There is no gaurantee there will be jobs in those cities when we want to be there, though. Where ever we go will be great, though! We went camping in Kentucky this past weekend. It was so much fun! We climbed some really fun climbs. I am really sore, but I think that is from hiking to the climbs. I actually led a route (climbed it without a rope already up--I brought the rope up ...

PACKING

I love it, Ryan hates it! I love having to go through stuff. We've given away a lot of junk. Reegan is even cool with getting rid of a lot of her toys. She knows her birthday is coming up, though! We are storing everything in Ryan's parents garage. When we move in with them, we will re-organize our stuff and bring a lot of it to their attic. Right now, we have almost everything in a one car garage! And its only filling up half the garage! We haven't even been stacking stuff high. We still have to move our washer and dryer, and kitchen stuff. I know we could get everything in a one car garage. I am really excited about that! When we really do move (and bring all our stuff with us) we won't need a huge moving truck! Our house is pretty empty. Reegan is loving the echo everywhere. I guess I better get started emptying out the kitchen. Hope y'all have as much fun as me today! (No sarcasm in that...I really enjoy packing)

OUR "PLAN"

Well, we close on the house a week from Friday. It's about time we decided where we're going to live after that! We've decided to stay in Indy through the first week of October to let Ryan finish out the contract he is in now. When it gets closer to time to move, we will check with the travelling company to see what jobs are available then. We had thought it would be cool to go to TN for a while (it is three month contracts with this travelling company), but since we are waiting till Oct to move that would put us away from everyone during the holiday (and cold) months. We will probably come straight to Texas. We don't know where in Texas--that will depend on what jobs are available in October. If we were moving now, we would almost for sure go to San Antonio. Anyone in San Antonio feel free to give pros and cons to living there (take in to account we can leave after 3 months). This company will put us up in a furnished apartment. After the three month contract is up, we can...

Rock Climbing Reegan

The owner of the rock gym we go to loves Reegan. He and his wife are always impressed with her climbing. She is by far the youngest person that actually climbs. Some kids have their parents pull them up the wall with the rope, but we don't let Reegan cheat. The owner of the gym asked us if he could take pictures of Reegan to put on the gym's website! Of course we said yes. Climbing GymClick on the Photos tab on the website. Reegan is the top picture. She is at the top of the 25' climb. Now we are waiting for her to get sponsored and get free climbing gear! Reegan loves it when she is climbing and everyone in the gym stops to watch her. And of course her daddy loves that, too.

Yes, this means we sold the house!!!As long as everything goes through fine, we will be moving soon! Now we just need to decide where we are moving to! We had kinda given up hope on someone wanting a tiny house, so we hadn't really made plans beyond "now we wait." I guess we better hurry and make some decisions!
