I've gotta get this computer out of the kitchen. I really can't stand for my kitchen to be dirty. And when I sit down at the computer I can never justify my time spent on it because there's always something to do in the kitchen. First on the list, make a sign that says "NO SHOES" to put at the end of my counter! I have no idea how they get there! Shoes... in the kitchen... good grief! I'm considering teaching a couple of little people how to do dishes too. But, I'm funny about my dishes. Iiiii don't know. Maybe we'll start with the broom? So, life is still busy. Not with football anymore, just replaced by holiday prep and Dr.'s appointments and other everyday life sort of stuff. I'm thankful to be feeling some better. Still haven't been to a follow-up appointment, but drugs help. I can't decide if that's fortunately, or unfortunately. I kinda prefer alternative medicine as opposed to "try these drugs and let me know", kind of medicine. Went to a reflexologist and ...

Thank you all so much for your prayers!! All of my test results came back fine. Sooooo, I have another appointment in a month. The journey continues. It seems that this is the way it goes with me and Doctors. "We can't find anything wrong. Here's some drugs. Come back in a month and tell me how you feel." Sorry... I'm feeling a little frustrated. However, a diagnosis of Fibromyalgia is a process of elimination. So, maybe I've been right all these years. Now I just get to spend the $$ to find out!! Thank you all again!!

I was just wondering if I could ask for your prayers. I have been to 2 Doctors this week for a realm of complaints. I had 6 or 7 viles of blood drawn today to figure out what is going on. The truth is, I haven't felt real great in a very long time. Things have just gotten worse lately. I'm not big on Doctors or drugs. Hopefully the bloodwork will reveal something. I just want to know what it is so that I can hopefully get to feeling better. They think it's along the lines of Rheumatoid arthritis or Fibromyalgia. I have never tolerated drugs very well and was given one prescription on Monday that made me feel worse, and 2 today. We'll see how that goes. I felt like I should say why it is that I haven't been on much lately (in addition to being so busy) and see if you wouldn't mind sending up a prayer that it's nothing too serious and that I'll be able to feel better soon. I would appreciate it so very much :) Thank you friends!!

I realize that it's been almost a month since my last post, sad. I do try to check in on you from time to time when I get a spare minute or two. Like, when I hit the snooze button and am behind 9 mins in the morning and have to sit at the computer to make sure that my kids remember that they're eating and not finger painting with a banana. Or when I'm waiting for my pasta water to boil. But other than that, time is nearly as in demand as gas around here. Actually, I haven't seen anybody out of gas this week, so I think time is in more of a demand. (am I even making sense? I know what I mean!) Anyhow, Mitchell continues to play football and he's still doing pretty good!! We are still trying to fit in homework and some type of food from 4-5:40 before practice starts each night. His reading is improving, thankfully!! I went to his teacher's conference last night and he's actually doing better than half of his class. What do I know?! I was thinking he needed a tutor. He has a mohawk too!! ...

Happy Monday friends!!

Hope it is a happy Monday!! I would like to thank all of you for your prayers!! Haven't heard anything from the house showing yesterday, but I'm still praying!!I guess I didn' have enough to do right now, so I decided that I would do an USBORNE BOOKS eSHOW!!! You see, I usually have quite a bit of Christmas shopping done by now, but becuase of this move I didn't want to move any more than necessary, and...I'm poor. So, I wanted to try to see if I could score a few free books for gifts!! Karen is a friend of mine that I met while I lived in Alabama and we have been able to re-connect thru Pleo!! So it helps us both out!! For those of you who aren't familiar with Usborne, the books are really nice!! Well made and beautiful!! So, I thought maybe a few of you might like to get started on your shopping too!! Feel free to tell a friend!! I'm gonna try to link the website, but if it doesn't work you can click on Karen's name and she has it listed in her website links. Just let her know wh...

New website!!

Judy Baker sent me an e-mail that announced a new website geared toward youth through pre-teen ages!! I have glanced thru it and it looks really neat!! It has everything from crosswords to Bible studies, to who am I, to Bible book descriptions!! I think it might be helpful to some of you who homeschool too!! I'm gonna try to add it into our daily Bible lessons to mix things up a little!! Mitchell has really enjoyed learning the computer lately, thank you Webkinz, and I think he might enjoy some of the activities!! Check it out!! The website is http://godlyyouth.com
