I was working yesterday (not fun) and stopped to admire the changing leaves on the trees outside the window. They are beautiful! There was this one tree that was entirely gold.. then more that were a deep cherry red. God is the best artist! I have to say it worked quite well. He was very surprised. All in all it was really fun and I'm glad I went. Lawrence Kelley gave a really good sermon on Sunday that pricked my heart and I needed to hear. I'm excited about moving up there. One of the points made was about the rich young man whom Jesus told to sell all of his possessions and follow Him. The point was made that we often separate ourselves and feel sorry for this guy that couldn't do what Jesus asked him, but how different am I from him? Could I sell my car, my house, everything I own, if Jesus asked me to?
