We've moved!!

YAY!! It really happened! We have moved!! It's still hard to believe that it has actually happened, but it's SO exciting! It feels a little strange with all the room, but it's really nice! :) We had a singing last night, which was so encouraging and fun having so many of the brethren in our new home. We have been SO blessed to worship with such wonderful brethren. The fall this year has just been amazing. The leaves seem so much more colorful this year. Sam and I have never seen anything like it and are just loving it! There are so many trees around our house that are so many different colors. Nature is pretty amazing! The boys seem to be settling down pretty well, which I'm grateful for. I've just got a couple of more boxes to unpack, and we'll be done! :) We have been blessed far more than we deserve, but we are so very grateful! If you are ever in the Pinson area, let us know. :) Hope you all have a wonderfu Lord's Day!

Finally...maybe:)

So after about 3 months of trying to buy this house, we have a closing date for Thursday!! I'm not holding my breath though. :) As soon as we close, the carpet will be put in and we'll be ready to move in! We've already moved several boxes over. Still doesn't seem quite real, but I'm SO excited to have more room! So, if you're ever in the BHM area, come visit because we can accomodate a lot of people now! :) The boys got hand, foot, and mouth disease this past week, which was interesting. It wasn't bad, mostly just a rash.Sam's mom has been here for about a week and a half helping us pack and finish up working at the new house. It's been so much fun having her around and relaxing! :) She's pretty amazing! Sam's dad got here yesterday and they plan to leave on Tuesday. We had such a wonderful visit with my mom and dad too. Can't believe they're already back home. It went by far too quickly. Please continue to pray for Zimbabwe. They are desperately needing rain and seed for this ne...

I can't believe that we're so far into September already! It has been so busy, but so much fun and it's still not over yet! :)The first weekend in Sept we went to Nashville, TN to a wedding and got to see so many wonderful people, and then stayed with the Malone's that Friday night. Fun times. Then the next Wed. - Sat. we went to Helen, GA for a family reunion with all of my family and got to see my parents!!!!! SO much fun!!! It makes me so sad that they don't get to see the kids very often, but they warmed up to them pretty quickly. It was so beautiful there too. A litle German town with good choclate and fudge. :)This Thurs. - Sat. we went to Greenville, MS because Sam's brother in law was doing a meeting there and we hadn't seen them since Christmas so we got to stay and visit with them. It was great to see the kids have so much fun together. This coming Wed or Thurs I'm going to Bowling Green for a couple of days and then on Fri to St. Louis to visit with my grandmother and ...

Stomach Bug!!

I always wondered how it would be when the whole family had a stomach bug. Well, we got to find out this weekend. :( Levi got sick in the car on the way home from church and then again later that night and he was miserable almost all night. :( He was a bit lethargic on Thurs, but no vommiting. So, we thought we were over it. Well, Titus started on Fri afternoon and it was SO pitiful. He was SO sick! Then Sam started on Fri night and I started on Sat!! SO miserable!! I think we are all finally beginning to feel better. I scrubbed the whole house and washed every blanket that was touched! Probably a little too much, but I don't want that bug to come back!!!Hope you all had a wonderful weekend!

New House!

Wow, I'm really bad about writing very often! :) A lot has happened since I last blogged. We found a house about 5-7 minutes from the building. It was a foreclosure, so we are able to get a lot larger house than we were expecting. We are SO excited about having more space!!! The owners before us were smokers so we have been painting, painting, painting! Aunty Lisa and Kelly came and helped us SO much with pulling wallpaper and paintig. (I despise wallpaper!) They were amazing!! Sam's dad's job happened to send him to BHM for a job, so mom and dad came down and helped us with painting too!! What perfect timing!!! They were such a great help! People from church have been wonderful about watching the boys for us. We've just got the boys room and a bunch of trim left!!! SO exciting!!! We're hoping to close next week!! This house and all the help we have had has been a wonderful blessing from God.Not much else going on. My parents will be in the states on Sept. 4th!!! I am SO excited to ...

Could it be #3?

Yes, it is true!! We are expecting our third gift from God. He/she is due Feb. 20th, but I think I should just add two more weeks to that because my boys were aruond 2 weeks late. :) We're praying for a little girl, but of course will absolutely LOVE a boy too. :) They are pretty fun. Levi is such a mommy's boy right now though. Hope he gets over that in the next couple of months. I can bsrely leave a room! But he does love seeing babies and holding baby dolls. :) I think Titus will be a great big, big brother. He's got such a good sweet heart. Not too much else going on here. We're really wanting to move closer to Selfville, but we're having to wait for the other house to sell, so we're praying for that. We have been so blessed with the wonderful group at Selfville. They're all so loving and kind and encouraging.Hope you all have a good Lord's day!

Zimbabwe needs prayers!

I got an email from someone from Zimbabwe today and the situation is just getting worse. The Chinese are trying to get 3 million bullets, 1500 rocket propelled grenades, and 3000 mortar shells to Zimbabwe. The ship arrived in South Africa a couple of days ago and they refused to let them come into the country, so now they are trying to get the weapons into Zimbabwe another way. There is less and less food every day. People are now getting beaten and their houses burned. We all just keep on wondering 'how much longer.' It is all so heart breaking. Please continue to pray for Zim. Thankfully, God is in control!

Levi is ONE!

Well, actually he turned one last week Friday. He is walking everywhere and saying several words. He is just too cute! He's got such a funny sense of humor and such a cute laugh. He loves putting clothes on his head and wandering around the house. He's also our little mover. He loves moving everything around the house. :)Please keep Zimbabwe in your prayers. They had elections two weeks ago, and they were not held fairly and it looks like Mugabe may stay in power. The brethren are receivng the food packages though, and they are so thankful to all of you who are sending them. Thank you again for helping out! If there are any of you cannot continue sending a box, just let me know.Hope you all have a wonderful Lord's Day!

This year has just flown by! But it's been wonderful! It's so much fun watching them together!I went to a kickboxing class tonight and it was SO much fun, but I'm going to be in pain tomorrow! :) I'm going to try to go every week, so we'll see. :)Hopefully going to Knoxville this weekend! We're excitd to meet Phoebe!
