I think I'll enjoy my classes. I'm taking a couple of fun ones like Game Birds and ornamental fowl (if anyone needs to know about the nutrition of a guinea be sure and let me know.) and Beef Cattle Production (which i'm really excited about-i like cows, and learning about them. weird huh?) I did have a little trouble getting my schedule worked out because i got dropped from one of my classes because i didnt have the right pre-requisite. so now i have to take a math (yikes!) at 8 am (YIKES!). so we'll see how that goes. And now for the REALLY exciting news! Drum Roll Please... During all this confusion i got to spend some quality time with my advisor and i learned that after this semester I will only need 17 HOURS in order to GRADUATE!! Get up, go to worship, get on a plane and head to Arlington with her, Ruthie and Kay to her bridal shower, get back on the plane and fly back to Bryan and arrive back in Benchley just in time for services. I had a WONDERFUL weekend and week! there were lots of fun times with good friends and exciting things happening!! Friday was Sophia's birthday (which included a middle of the night trip to IHOP where we got some cute and happy desserts from our tremendously sweet waitress, Sylvia.)... not to mention the day of her engagement to Ryan!! the next day we went to final review (which was amazingly amazing) AND ice skating. (and lets not forget Fazolis.) It was only my second time to go ice skating but its so fun! and hilarious because apparently one of my legs becomes paralyzed when i get on the ice and i fall down a lot. thanks to these guys for all their help teaching me and trying to keep me from breaking a hip. it was a blast. AND on top of all this fun greatness Ashley got to stay with me and Sophia all week. AND I'm leaving tomorrow to go camping with the Boonville Animal Hospital Crew! Talk about fun ov... 2008-05-16
