Well, I am frantically trying to get stuff done for the wedding. All this little stuff just keeps piling up on me. So I am currently printing out the invitations so we can get them put together and mailed soon. I am so ready to be done with the wedding and be married. I am also ready to be living in my house. It is so exciting. Ok back to work. 83 days until the wedding...

YAY!!!

Ok so my mom thinks I am a glutton for punishment right now. The wedding is in 3 and a half months and we just signed papers to have a house built. The stress gets a little overwhelming at times but like Aaron says it will feel really good when it is all done. So I am now dealing with planning a wedding and planning a house and still teaching. Aaron is working the 1-9 pm shift at the airport and I am really not enjoying that. I wish I could see him more often. But he gets a four day weekend on the weekend of my birthday so that will be nice. I am looking forward to that. Once they start the work on the house, I will post some pictures up for everyone to see. It is very exciting and scary at the same time....

Busy busy bees!!

Well I am keeping busy with wedding planning, house hunting, school teaching, and keeping my fiancee fed and happy. Time is certainly flying by and I have so much more left to do before the wedding which is in less than 4 months now.I am also very glad to have Aaron back home so that I can see him every day. I have missed him while he was gone to Georgia for four months. Hard to believe that he was there since the middle of June. Seems like a really long time but I am glad to finally be through that. It was definitely a test on our relationship and it was rough, but we made it through. We also learned a lot about ourselves and our relationship during that time. It was definitely what I would call a trial by fire.Well, hope everyone's week is going well. Tomorrow's Friday. Thank goodness.

11 DAYS!!!!!

Only 11 days until Aaron's graduation from training. I am so happy! The past 15 weeks has been very stressful and difficult for us both. I would never have thought that I could miss someone that much. Our time apart has just made us more eager to get married. We have a lot of planning stuff to do once he gets home. So I am looking forward to getting more things crossed off my to do list. But the most exciting thing is that we are going to go look at a house when he gets back. I already looked at it and loved it so we will see what he thinks. It is in Crosby and is really close to his sisters which would be nice. So I hope the next 11 days go by quickly for my sanity's sake. Oh and P.S. My house and my parent's house survived Ike amazingly well. All is good.

I'm back...

Well I got home about 1:30 am this morning. No I didn't get stranded this time but had other fun adventures. The restaurant we ate at before going to the airport took a long time so I got to the airport only about 45 minutes before my flight and they would not let me check my bag. So I had to quickly go through my bag for what I wanted to stick in my carry on. Then I left my bag in Georgia with Aaron. I get on the plane and get to Atlanta. My flight from Atlanta to Houston was delayed an hour because they had to change the front tires. I made it home last night but without my bag. And halfway home on my flight I realized I left my medicine, my car keys, my house keys, and my hair brush with Aaron. So...it will be a fun couple of weeks until Aaron brings my bag back to Texas with him on his flight for Labor Day. I always have adventures when travelling by myself. But I am glad to have made it home. Oh and seeing Aaron was wonderful!

Well I am leaving in about 30 minutes to go see Aaron. We have been apart for 6 weeks and I am so happy to be going there today. I couldn't sleep last night I was so excited. So now I am excited and tired. But, everybody keep me in your prayers this weekend. Pray that I will not get stranded in Atlanta again on the way home. Hope everyone has a great weekend!!! I will.

Prayers please.

Please pray for Aaron. He is having a difficult time at training. He has run into a lot of bitter people who are trying to get him kicked out. So please keep him in your prayers. And also me. We are both feeling very lonely. Only 3 weeks until I go visit again but that seems so long. Hope everyone is doing well. Oh and I ordered my wedding dress this week. YAY!! One more thing done. So exciting! I am having trouble sleeping so hopefully I can sleep now. Goodnight!

Home again, home again!!

I went to Brunswick, Georgia to visit Aaron this past weekend. It was a very good trip. Definitely worth it. I got to see the room he is staying in. It is not very big at all. On Saturday, we went out to Jekyll Island. That place is pretty cool! I had a very long, unexpected journey home. My flight from Jacksonville to Atlanta was delayed because of the weather in Atlanta so then I missed my connection. I ended up stranded in Atlanta and could not get a flight out to Houston until the next morning. That was not fun! I always seem to get stranded when I am traveling alone. It is really great! But when I got on my flight the next morning, I was put in first class. So that was definitely enjoyable! Glad to finally be home. Overall my trip was very worthwhile. I am looking forward to Aaron being home in October. Please keep him in your prayers as this is really hard on him and stressful on the both of us. Thanks!

SADNESS!!

So Aaron just left for training in Georgia about 30 minutes ago. And let me tell you I bawled! That was one of the most difficult things I have ever had to go through. Now the real trial begins...they say that absence makes the heart grow fonder. So maybe this time apart will be good for us. It will definitely be difficult but I think we are definitely up for the challenge. Please keep Aaron and I in your prayers for the next few months. It is going to be a long 15 weeks but hopefully I will get some wedding stuff done to keep myself somewhat busy. Thanks for listening!!!
