This semester is going to be gone before I know it. My schedule is finally in place for good. Last week I added voice lessons with Mrs. Bassett on Mondays at 2pm and piano lessons with Mrs. Barlar on Thursdays at 1:15 :) Along with a number of extra-curricular activities which are bound to keep me super-busy! Which is sometimes a good thing. - Omega Chi - YWTO - Footlighters - Yearbook (which is technically a class..) It's hard to not get involved down here. There are SO many things to do. The friends I have made down here so far have done nothing but add to the wonderful experience. They are several great Christian ladies who I know will be there for me and I for them. I've met too many people to remember and have too many reasons to smile. I'm not yet sure which part of the day is my favorite. For some reason I enjoy waking up to start my day. I wake up to a brand new day, still devoid of mistakes and drama and any other bad thing. I love pulling back our yellow curtains and seeing the beautiful Florida sunshine. I like listening to my favorite songs off my ipod as I get ready. Mornings are truly a gift from God and I find it ironic that I'm finally realizing this in college. God has blessed me and blessed me. I can't say it enough times and I can't stop reminding myself of it. I often forget what truly matters.
