I am not one to really recommend movies (unless it's Disney ;-) ) but this film is completely amazing...and beyond emotional and touching. I have seen it like ...well a lot of times and I get choked up EVERY TIME. It's remarkable to see the lives that were lost, the shock that the New York citizens faced, the horror of evil, but mostly the dedication those firefighters had to keep going, to save lives and to keep their city safe is really something that all Americans need to watch or see so they can appreciate the freedoms we/they have. But I've got my wedding shoes..when it does finally come in!! YIPPEE!! So..I'm trying to run through my list of "to do's" for this BIG event (that is inching closer and closer..yippee!)..and I was wondering..what was something that you didn't think about until "oh dear! We also listed and colored the countries that were and/or were not involved in WWI. Well...(we'll use the name: Sally Mayikisha) one of my students wasn't doing anything...just sitting there. Me: "Sally Mayikisha, what are you doing?" SM: "Nothin'" Me: "Well you need to be working on our map" SM: shrug of the shoulders a few minutes pass by and I notice she's on her cell phone.
