Useless info

I have a whole new appreciation for gas station attendants. Are there gas station attendants anymore? I make a game out of pumping gas (what else am I gonna do?). I try to get it to 00. I think I've done this once out of all the times I've tried (many). Today was a very poor job indeed...$25.11! I make a game out of most chores. I learned this habit with young kids. It doesn't work well on the older ones. The job I loathe the most is grocery shopping. I try to go as fast as I can...like that old game show. What was it called? Old ladies slow me down and moms driving those carts shaped like cars. I've never seen a dad drive one of those unless he's with his wife. I'm sure it was her idea. My husband slows me down. He says he's just following me. If he were, he'd be going fast.Well now I've wasted 20 seconds of all our lives. Enjoy the rest of the seconds in your day. :)

Stocks are being dumped and sales of assault weapons are up.PS I'm really tired of Main St. v Wall St. For some reason I imagined that phrase would go away after Nov 4.PPS When at an event with stadium seating...do NOT turn around to see what's bumping you because you WILL be confronted with a butt 2 in. from your face.

Installation art uses sculptural materials and other media to modify the way a particular space is experienced. Installation art is not necessarily confined to gallery spaces and can be any material intervention in everyday public or private spaces.I never realized my neighbor was an artist. But he has a toilet sitting in his driveway so obviously he is.

Music

Someone on another blog "discussion" on music said contemporary music is empty. I guess as a reason it's "wrong". I guess if it's only as contemporary as the 1800s and 1950s it's what God wants. Wait...many of us sing more contemporary than that, for instance, songs written by RJ Stevens. This one is "One of these Days" by FFH. One of these days I'm gonna flyOver the mountainOne of these days I'm gonna rideOn the silverliningOne of these days I'm gonna witnessAll I've been missingOne of these daysOne of these days I'm gonna doAll the things that I've never doneI'm gonna finish all the racesThat I've run but I've never wonAnd I'm gonna see a million facesAnd recognize everyoneOne of these daysChorus:One of these daysGonna see the hand that took the nails from meOne of these daysGonna hold the key to the mansion built for meOne of these daysGonna walk the streets of gold that were paved for meOne of these daysI'm gonna see my Savi...

Something I've been thinking about

Matthew 7:13-15 (New American Standard Bible)New American Standard Bible (NASB)The Narrow and Wide Gates 13"Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter through it. 14"For the gate is small and the way is narrow that leads to life, and there are few who find it.I always thought (was taught) this was because so few got all the bits and pieces right...for whatever reason...too lazy, too rebellious, etc. Basically because...according to me...they didn't really love God.Isn't it more likely that it's because so few of us actually change our hearts?
