Just in case you don't know if or where... I early voted on Friday. Funny story-Connor came home from school the other day and with tears in his eyes, he says, "Mom you aren't going to like me anymore." In tears he says,"I voted for that wrong man."They held an election the other day at school and let the kids vote. He was so upset.

Has anyone ever refinished kitchen cabinets?

We are remodeling the kitchen. I am torn between painting the cabinets or restaining them. Mom had hers painted and they are beautiful but they could get scratched up. Since they were sprayed on, you can't touch that up. So I thought that if I stained them it would hold up better. What do you think?Does anyone know where you can buy either online or in Houston, some Cognac stain? Lowes, Home Depot and Sherwin Williams doesn't have it.

Say real fast with your eyes closed:McCain and PalinThen Obama and BidenNow did it one sound scarrily (like, that is a word? Hold on let me finish) like one of the worlds biggest terrorist? Now have you heard this?A US federal judge on Friday rejected a lawsuit claiming Senator Barack Obama is ineligible to seek the presidency because he was either born in Kenya or is a citizen of Indonesia. The US Constitution requires that a person be born in the United States and be a citizen of the country in order to be eligible to serve as president. If you haven't check this out:http://www.nation.co.ke/News/-/1056/484146/-/tlhnhg/-/I am ready for all this to be over with and to get back to some less annoying commercials. Like my personal favorite the Geico Cavemen. Not to be confused with the Geico Gecko- EEK- deathly afraid of lizards.

Martin called from work on Thursday and said get ready I have tickets to the Uni Houston and UAB game. So here we are:There was a slight waterworks problem on the other side of the field. But after a couple of minutes it was taken care of..HAHA The seats were really good. Row 4 on the 50 yard line. We didn't have to sit on the cold bleachers either! UH won. Martin loved it! I was more excited to watch the planes flying low overhead before they landed at Hobby airport. I have got to go somewhere soon! I think this is the best slogan I have seen lately! Then spent the Friday shopping with Martin and our neighbor Pam.Ate lunch at Pappa's seafood in Humble.Saturday we took the kids to Baybrook. The Disney Show, Wizards of Waverly Place, had a small promotional event going on. Here are some pics Then we went for a visit to Uncle Russell's boat.
