Prayer

I had to remind myself of this passage today:I Timothy 2:1-3Exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men; For Kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour.

I finally uploaded some pics to Facebook. You can go here to see them. You can't really tell how crazy his fur is in these pics but if you look close in some of them you can get an idea. There are also pics of Michael and Emi's soccer games on Saturday.

We decided to name our puppy Pepe. It suits him. Here is the original Pepe for your viewing pleasure. I will post some pics of his namesakes as soon as I have time to upload them onto my slow, slow computer. Sadly enough, the "raspberry flopovers" part was left out of this clip, but oh well.

Names

We thought maybe Albert because his hair is crazy like Albert Einstien. Maybe Alberto since he's a chihuahua. Of course we loves all of your suggestions. Right now we are leaning toward Pepe (in honor of the King Prawn). Pepe's "hair" is kinda crazy, plus Pepe is my favorite Muppet, Okay? He kinda looks like a chia pet, so going with clay's and Sam's we could name him Chia-huahu. It's a long or maybe short process. We'll keep ya posted.

He's here!

We brought home our little bundle of energy yesterday! We decided on a 3.5 month old chihuahua. His mama was a shorthaired chihuahua and his daddy was long-haired. He is somewhere between. He has mostly short hair with long fine whispy hairs all over. It looks like he has a permanent bad hair day, but he is really cute. He reminds me of the Pigpen character in the Charlie Brown cartoons. He is mostly black with white toes and a little white tuft on his chest. We haven't decided on a name yet. The naming has been harder than we anticipated. I'll try to get some pictures posted of him soon.

Bundle of Joy

So...Yesterday, October 10th, was the third anniversary of my marriage to Jonathan. Marriage has been wonderful to us. When we got married I didn't think it was possible to love him any more than I did that day, oh how naieve I was. I love him more all the time, more one minute than the previous. I look forward to spending the rest of my life with him. He has helped me to grow in so many ways, most importantly, I've grown spiritually. He has helped calm me with the DRAMA that seems to follow those of us in the Andrews family. We laugh a lot! He thinks I'm funny and I like the attention. I know he's funny, but most people don't see that side of him. He is so much fun to be married to. Before our first anniversary, we decided that it would be fun to follow the traditional gift giving guide for each anniversary. First anniversary: paper, 2nd: cotton or china 3rd: leather... so on and so forth. Well it's easy to find a leather somthing for a man, but I've been so curious as to what he wo...

So here are 8 weird facts about me, that I bet aren't common knowledge:1) I was once bitten by a camel (at the Buffalo Park in Tupelo Mississippi)2)I've always wanted to be a homemaker, But it's not my favorite thing to clean. I do it in spurts. I'm in a cleaning mood today, in fact.3) I am recovering from inflammation of the rib cage. Who ever heard of that? It's new to me.4)I have 8 sisters, 2 brothers, 5 brothers-in-law and 2 sisters-in law. 5)I've been licked by a giraffe (at Busch Gardens in Tampa)6)I rearrange my furiture at least once monthly. It takes me that long to figure out another way to do it.7) I don't normally turn any lights on in the house until it gets dark or later if I'm home alone. I love to let the Sunshine filter in. If it's overcast or something I still don't turn them on as long as I can still see fairly well. I guess I'm just not used to turning on light switches until late in the day.8)I've had several turtles in my life and I've named them a...
