There are many of you whose names are still white from when I was in Tennessee. And now I'm going to Missouri, the land of dial-up. So, for my own sanity, I won't be online much the next few days.Rest assured, I will read your blog eventually. It'll just take me a while.Until then, please hold for the next available blog-reader ...*Insert obnoxious hold music here*

Thursday morning

I like Gatlinburg! :)We're starting our third full day here, and I've had a really good time. We spent Tuesday morning and Wednesday morning hiking in the park - saw some very pretty scenery! Tuesday afternoon, we hit the outlet mall and found me some clothes that fit - something that's been in short supply since the pregnancy. :) Yesterday afternoon, we just kinda lazed around, then went to Bible study.Today, we're going into Gatlinburg for the day. Gatlinburg is what I envisioned this area to look like - a walkable, touristy town. Matt said last night that Sevierville/Pigeon Forge looks like a G-rated Vegas - lots of lights and neon, etc. I'm excited about Gatlinburg, though. Tuesday evening, we went to Walmart to get some groceries for some of our meals this week. The prettiest thing I've seen since we got here ...

We're here! It's gorgeous, I think. It was dark by the time we got here, so I haven't actually seen anything yet. But judging by the STEEP roads in this neighborhood, I'm guessing it's gorgeous. :) We had to turn around several times trying to find our cabin in the dark. It was lots of fun ... not really. But we're here. Uneventful trip, thankfully. We ate turkey sandwiches for lunch on the way down, then stopped at Chik-fil-a for dinner!!! :) Hooray!! We're going out to breakfast in the morning, then over to the national park. We'll walk for a little while over there, and then stop by walmart on our way back to the cabin to pick up breakfast and lunch material. Yay! :)I've already started taking pictures, but I'll wait till we get back, and post them all at once. It's nice, though. I like the cabin a lot - it's very cute. :)I'm being implored to put the computer down and cuddle instead ... and the implorer is awfully cute, so I guess I'd better go cuddle and watch T...

That's me trying to catch my breath. We leave tomorrow. I'm nowhere NEAR ready to go. I mean, I'm ready to be there ... just not ready to be gone yet. Laundry in the washer and dryer waiting for me, dishes waiting to be washed, rooms of the house waiting to be picked up, clothes waiting to be packed (some of them are waiting in the dryer!!) ... ack.Guess I'd better get off my rumpus and get to it!We'll have internet access at the cabin, so I'll be around.

Seriously.I have not slowed down to breathe since ... last Friday, I think. We've just been going, going, going. Monday was the preacher get-together for Matt, then we went to Rochelle. Tuesday, I had coffee with a friend of mine, then we went to Indiana to see them, then off to Rochelle again. And Rochelle is a nearly-two-hour one way drive. :) Wednesday, we spent a little time recovering, and then I went to work with Matt so I could work on bible class material. Yesterday, I had a dentist appointment AND a doctor's appointment, and spent much of the rest of the day at the building. Last evening, we walked at the mall for a while, then shopped for me something to wear to the wedding this weekend. Unsuccessfully shopped. :(Today, I'm going with Matt to the building this morning, then spending the afternoon getting my house back in order. Tonight, we drive to Bridgeview for a gospel meeting there. Tomorrow, I have weight watchers in the morning, then time at home to corral...
