Balloons nowhere graduating

Since I don’t want to scroll all the way down to see my comments, here’s another entry:

Why were we given such a huge bag when we only bought 2 t-shirts?

  Those are great pics below. Enjoyed the storyline. I can't ever figure out why they give you a huge bag even if you don't buy much. I want to say..."That's ok, I'll just carry my 1 shirt". Seriously.

Chalupa me, Allie! Chalupa!

So I’m taking a break from packing and decided to update my pleonast.

A few weeks ago we saw Fiddler on the Roof.
Topol = pure awesome. I’m really glad I was able to go.


(I’m actually tickling Allie for this shot.)

It was so awesome we cried.

Then my granddad, the Hubers, and the Mayberrys all came to Allie’s graduation.

Her graduation was held at Reliant Stadium. Allie, Andy, Brandon, and I got there around 2:30, 2 ½ hours early. The graduates weren’t allowed to wear their robes until after they were already inside the stadium, so they had to get there extra early to put them on. Unfortunately, they wouldn’t let anyone inside until 3:45. There was almost a riot.

I tried getting in this way, but it didn’t work. :(

Luckily because of Andy’s camera equipment and us pretending that we knew what we were doing, the 3 of us sat upstairs in the AC before the graduation started.
I’d post more pictures, but #1 my camera died and #2 Mark Mayberry posted some really awesome photos online here. I think my favorite is Allie laughing while playing spoons. There is also a picture of the two of us yelling, which is fairly amusing. :D

And then we had a water balloon fight.
We had a really hard time finding a place to have our picnic. All of the shaded places were reserved, so we tried eating on the dock.

But then we got chased away.

It was sad. :(


So we just decided to take a reserved spot.

We ate sandwiches…

…and then searched for a place to fill up our water balloons.


It took a while.

This is probably why.


I’m not sure why Fuzzy has only 1 leg in this picture, but he does.

We also watched a dog attack a duck.

But it was okay because Thomas saved the day! :)

And then we had our battle.




This picture cracks me up.

Then we saw some baby ducks.

Everybody loves baby ducks.

And then Fuzzy got pushed into the lake.

And attempted to bring Emilee with him (but ended up not doing so).

Then we went to the playground.

I love these things.


Everyone’s a winner! :D

Then we came back to the house and played Imagine Iff…

And mafia.
Jeff is seriously the best person to play mafia with. Ever. End of story.

And then everyone went home.

And then I got my eyes checked and dilated and wore funny sunglasses to protect my eyes.

And Sonic gave me a Route 44 Dr Pepper for the price of a regular.

This is the difference between a large and a Route 44. Pretty crazy!

No, I will not be student teaching because I graduated.
No, I didn’t just graduate high school.
Yes, I am the older sibling.
Yes, I have a job.
No, I am not going to hate it.

Cactus of destruction

Once again, I posted the majority of my pictures below this post so I wouldn’t have to keep scrolling down.

Well, Christmas has come and gone, and I think it was a good one. The best part was coming home to see my friend that had fallen away 4 1/2 years ago come back to Christ. That was something I’ve prayed about every day, and so I am, of course, extremely happy. I’m not sure anything else could make me happier. :) It also reminds me to never give up on people, because you never know what’s going to happen.

I myself am not doing too well today. I’m finally getting over my cold/flu/bug/whatever today. I can finally walk around and do stuff again! :D Staying in bed is no fun. But at least it didn’t happen during the school year. I’m really nervous about student teaching, but I guess I just have to suck it up and do it. (And please don’t tell me how much I’m going to hate it. I’ve heard enough of that. In fact, I’ve heard more of that than any encouraging words.)

  I know...we even did this thing where ever time you nurtz you add 1 card to your 13 stack. I ended up with 20 before we stopped. At that point it was like 270 (me), 170, 160, 130, 108. That was fun. I've been banned I think.

  Student teaching is the most exciting, funtastic, adventurous, awesome-tacular experience in the whole universe.
  There! Did that balance out all those negativers out there? Or should I use more real words? I considered using "exhilerating" but it messed up the sentence flow and I think I spelled it wrong.

For the extended family christmas we went to Austin. Here’s a picture of the whole family:

And by pure coincidence, the majority of the cousins wore black (me being included). Yay for my gothic family! :D


While we were there we played squishy sardines (basically a backwards hide and go seek). (Here we’re hiding in a closet.)
I bet y’all wish you were related to Beaker!

We played with puppets.

And built a house for Reegan, our 1st cousin once removed. Yes, I know, we’re not destined to be architects.

We pretended we were penguins…

And then drew penguins.

We also introduced our cousin Evie to Homestar Runner.

(We also did a lot more fun stuff that I don’t feel like writing out.) It was all very exhausting.

But we had fun.

If you ever wonder where my insanity comes from, I believe it’s greatly hereditary.
