Thanks for the info on the retreat!(or whoever brought it over) that is Lydia's b-day weekend, it always seems that something is going on when I would like to do something---Thank you again!!!!
We plan on putting our old one in the garage. We can't get enough in there now and are excited to have two. We also have a deep freeze which Luke plans on stocking with deer meat next season. ;-0
I TOTALLY forgot about playgroup. Wishing I had gone. What a perfect day for it. Just slipped my mind that it was Tuesday and that it would be a great day to come.
Would you please email me three recipes for the FC cookbook. We are in much need of people and recipes and the deadline is the end of the month. My email address is in the corner on my blog. Thanks so much.
So the kids have been out of town at their grandparents this week. It has been relaxing but also very satisfying, as I have finished my list of things to accomplish while they were gone.
Not much has been going on in the last 3.5 months. Dougray has been playing T-ball. Some photos here.
Annabelle is in gymnastics. She is really enjoying that.
PTA, volunteering in Dougray's class, and driving carpool for preschool have been filling my days.
My photo business has been steady. I photographed my first wedding last month. Tell me what you think.
Summer is here, down in Florida. Hope all you northerns get some of our heat soon.
Becky, I didn't know you liked photography too! We are coming down for graduation (May 1) - flying. The girls have a small car down there now; they are flying back with Craig and I'm driving up to see Meghan. Give the kids a hug when they return - even if they don't know who we are!
Ah yes. We need to do that. Now I am motivated, because I have a quirky little mind invention I'm working on. I'll talk to Todd. Now that school is out, the flexibility is much greater!
We love baseball season. Jaydon is in kid-pitch now--although sometimes it more resembles dodge ball (ouch!) The girls love to go and cheer him on (we all do). We are glad to have our evenings back when it is over, though. Your pictures are great.
Wade took it to the shop so it's better now. The van was easier to sell really. Brenna is going to cry tomorrow when she wakes up and it's gone. I was going to let her say goodbye but I thought "it's just van!!" and that I would be encouraging her I don't want to get rid of anything attitude.
YIKES!!!! That sure stinks. Poor little man. I hope he heals quickly. I'm sure there's nothing harder than being a little boy and unable to use your arm.
True. Baby Ray #4 and Conner(that's right isn't it?) can be friends- they won't be but a few months apart. Not that he can't be friends with the girls, but I do want him to have at least one male buddy! By the way, I never heard what happened to Dougray's arm...
Oh wow! Well, I guess you are right- it could have been much worse; but still, hard day for you guys(and it is supposed to be one of the most fun days of the year!).:)
Here is our photo card and newsletter... Hope your holidays are great.
Happy Holidays 2007!! Hope everyone is doing well and your holiday season is going great. Another year has past and we are all a year older. Yeah, for the kids yuck for us! We have had a fulfilling year and everyone has been healthy. We are so blessed.
Dougray still loves his trains and Lightning McQueen. He also spends a lot of time with his Legos creating all kinds of things. Annabelle is still all the way princess, however, she has branched out a bit and has taken up with her baby dolls. This summer the pool was again a big hit. Most of the time they really play together good, creating games or getting out a board game to play. Sometimes the made up games end in disaster, as they did today when Annabelle fell in the pool. It is pretty cold and gave her quite a shock. She did laugh a little when she found out I wasn’t mad.
Over Spring Break, Dougray and Annabelle again spent a week at Mamaw and Pappie’s house. In July we went to SC and spent a week camping with Jay’s family, and then the kids stayed up for another week. Dougray started kindergarten in August and has been having a great time and has been very successful. Annabelle returned to preschool and has again been enjoying her time there. Poppins (the cat) is fine, however, she now enjoys the outdoors full time (long story); hard to believe she has been around three years already. We also entered the world of extra-curricular sports this year. Dougray played fall T-ball and really improved his skills and had a great time with his dad as one of the coaches.
Jay is well and still working with Verizon. He has returned to one of his old loves, cycling, and now bikes to work several days a week. My photography business has taken off and I finally have a website, if you haven’t seen it yet, please take a look and tell me what you think.
Hope that all of you are doing well also. Please contact us if you are every down our way, we would love to hear from you or have you visit.
Well so much has happened since my last post. I need to get on the ball with that and at least try posting once a week or something. Dougray has had a super first nine weeks of school. He is really loving it. Annabelle finally started preschool the first of October and is having a great time. Dougray started T-ball in September and has really been enjoying that and getting better every game. Here are a few pictures of my baseball star
Halloween has come and gone here are the kiddos in costume.
Last weekend we went camping with a bunch of people from church. We had a great, great time. The kids played so hard and loved being with all their friends. We had Sunday morning worship at the campground, right by the water. The speaker spoke about God's blessing of this earth and their beauty in the Psalms. I had such a different meaning sitting and singing hymns and praying outside on a beautiful morning. Here a few pictures of the weekend.
I can't believe Thanksgiving is only two weeks from today. 2007 is almost over. Hope your holidays are shaping up great. Hope you aren't too busy. Ha Ha Ha Ha
You have been having lots of fun!!! I love the pictures:) Your kids are both just so, so cute!! Love seeing your allstar play ball and they both look so cute in their costumes!! I love the pic of all of you...you all are a beautiful family!!
Why is this time of year so busy?!! You're family looks healthy and happy! Saw your photo auciton today. Those were awesome pics of Megan. I will have to talk to you sometime about your prices and what you offer. I'm always taking pics of the kids at certain ages. I'm still trying to get to playdate! Trace just always takes a nap from 10-12. He'll change one day! ;-0
Hey Becky!! Did you hear that Brenna was puking her guts out friday after school? We almost didn't come but she stopped around 7 that night so here we are. I'm praying that Lauren doesn't get it, so far so good though. Have a great Thanksgiving!!
Hey. I totally forgot that Todd is leaving for D.C. in the morning at 4:30 a.m. Any chance you could take the kids in the morning and me pick up in the afternoon? If not, no biggie. I can still do it.
