We went to watch two of my granddaughters sing in their school
choir Thur. evening. It was so nice.
We have two birthdays this month.
This Thanksgiving has been the hardest one to get everyone together yet. I finally worked out a meal time,In the evening, but only half can come to eat. We might have some come in from out of town too.
We will see the other half that couldn't come at lunch at another home.
You have to do what you have to do.
Last year we didn't have a get together at all. We were at the
hospital with my oldest son. He had a heart attach the night before. You might remember me writing about it. Like I said before
we have soooooooo much to be thankful for. He is doing pretty well now.
Have a great November. And a better December!
As most of you know my husband is on call all of the time. I had the pager clipped on and it went off while we were still in the parking lot this evening, so we had to leave before we ever got into the building for services. We were sad we missed worshiping this evening.
We missed you too. Your thanksgiving sounds like our christmases! A large and busy family is something to be very thankful for though :) I am glad Tim is doing well now!
http://www.caramal.com/ibdrd/ibddescription.asp Here is the web site with the book Wesley began with. He followed the liquid diet for 6 or 7 weeks. He was in full remission. At that point you have to begin eating foods again. This was a difficult time for Wesley with lots of sick days. We consulted a N.D. who did the food allergy tests-- sent blood samples to a lab. Wesley's major food allergies were identified. He began avoiding those foods, as well as including macronutrients-- Udo's oil for efa balance and a couple of herbs for combating inflammation. He now has had no days for several months that he couldn't eat, and he lives in remission being considered pain-free and no active symptoms
Just thinking
Today was so pretty here and warm too.
I am thankful I can work and very thankful I
have the freedom to go to services without fear.
For my family's good health.
The warm house we have to live in.
We are taking it off the market next week till spring.
I am thankful for still being able to drive a car.
So many things that if I was to write a list, it
would be very long.
I pray a lot for our election. I pray that the new President
will believe in God and family. And that he doesn't take away our freedom. I am sure you all are praying also.
This is the scariest election I can remember. And I am not young.
A young man of 21 years told me and a couple of other women at work that the Flag didn't mean that much to him. Well let me
tell you by the time all three of us got through telling him
about the one's that lost their lives and what it stands for he
was thinking about it in a different light.
And if he would have said that about God we would have educated
him on that also :)
Have a great week and remember do all in the name of the Lord.

Oops! Sorry, I guess I missed you totally! I'm glad I could come though:) I'll guess I'll say my greetings here and maybe we can see each other another time:-) Have a great week!
Fall is here and we have had some very nice days.
Well, we had our second open house yesterday.(the other
one was when we were trying to sell it.)
And had two family's show up. One was looking for
a house on a Mountain top. That is far from where our
house sets. Our land is very flat and by a road.
The other had two daughters and use to live in Parkersburg
and are wanting to move back. Strange thing is I had seen
this very nice lady three different times not very long ago. Her
friend had 3 members of her family to pass a way in a matter
of months and she was there with her. She seen me and called
me by name. I can't believe it. I am so bad with names.
You wonder, what was I doing here during our Open House.
I don't leave. I just set on our screened in front porch.
Have a great Week.
