I'm learning to read. I'm very excited about it! You see, I got a new special Bible book from Mommy as a prize for learning the books of the New Testament. I really really really like it. I take good care of it. It's a special book about Bible stories for kids who are learning to read--that's me!
I'm learning to sound out some words, and I can remember some of the shorter words every time I see them--words like "God", and "made", "boat", and "baby".
One day, my Mommy was looking through my Bible book, and I saw a word I knew! I was so excited! So I shouted out loud:
"Mommy, I see 'God'!"
She was confused. She didn't think I could see "God" for some reason, but it was written clear as day right at the top of the page!
