It was the greatest day many of you have ever experienced. For some, your little brother was born. You loved him. For others, the most beautiful child you've ever seen was born. For most, it was the best day of your life.....I WAS BORN.
well this was a very special day to me. I wanted to have a baby so much and I had Andrew, he was a wonderful, delightful child. He has always been sweet and loving and a joy to raise. I often would describe Andrew as a very peacable person easy to be around. Happy Birthday darling. I love you, Mom
You will have to be with Keith sometime when he is on his computer and Candee is on hers...we can do the video online thing....it works good...they both have the same computer...we can see each other...our video phone wasn't working too good so we haven't been using it...
Acts 14:19-22 / Romans 5:3-4. I believe the more you invest into something, the less likely you will turn away from it. The more trials you go through, the less likely you are to turn away from your goal. It has been true in my life. I wouldn't prepare and study for 3 weeks and not take the test. I wouldn't condition for a year and not tryout for the team. Though I don't know the extent of pain and mental endurance Paul must have had, I cannot help but think that as Paul recovered from that stoning he must have felt the strongest convictions because he persevered through the toughest physical trials he could have... We probably all agree the greatest trials we face today in parallel would be the spiritual struggles, trials, and temptations we are called to overcome. The passages definitely helps encourage me through Paul's example to make it through the temptations and tough times, because it is those moments that defines our character. And through righteousness we'll have hope!
Its easy to want to take the easy way out and avoid the trials of life... and yet it is the trials that bring such joy when we persevere through them. Thanks for the thoughts...
hey handsome andrew! so good to hear from you. hope you're doing fabulous! i miss you! come to fc oregon camp and be a counselor and we can hang out for the week and you can teach me lots of stuff, you are so knowledgeable, i just love reading your blogs. wow! as for kirsten, she fractured her foot, the nevicular bone, playing soccer. she was/is on the jv team, her freshman year, and now she just goes to practices and games and sits on the sidelines. big bummer! i was so dissappointed. she has five more weeks of cast/crutches. she's been a real trooper thru it all. tell me how you're doing! i would love to hear! really i would! love ya andrew!
