So that means that if I go into labor on my due date (which I won't) than I have less than 4 weeks to go! WOO HOO! I am trying very hard to not focus on that date and just go with the flow. I already talked with my midwife about not checking me as far as thinning and dilating are concerned. Usually they check at 36-37 weeks which would be starting this week. The thing is I ALWAYS dilate early. THen I walk around for four weeks going "is this it? Is it time?" It gets really old and I don't want to put myself thru that this time around.
I am in the stage that stewy likes to refer to as the momma cat stage. WHere I just need to get in my box that is tucked under the stairs and hiss and spit at people as they walk by! I will have to say I have felt that way a lot lately.
I did not want to come out of my hole at all yesturday but I managed. After morning services we headed to mom and dad's. November is full of birthdays for our family so we had a combo birhtday dinner. It was nice and I am glad we went but I was happy to get home.
I am super excited that the wonderful Wall family is up for a visit. I am thankful that they have been able to visit about once a month. We will get to see them in december too cause kinzi is going to stay with us from my due date till when the baby makes its' grand entrance! That will be awesome and a HUGE help! Thanks in advance to Toni Nicole for lending your wonderful daughter to me!

My Brother's mother-in-law is Nov6, I'm the 12th, My cousin Leigh is the 21st, and Rosemary is the 30th. I think our February is a little more packed like your November (^_^)
What kind of goats are you looking for? We have a nubian bred to a nubian. Hopefully she will have 2 does. I want one from her, but she may have more, and of course, several boers. The first ones are due in March. The following year we should have saanen kids.
Ok so to update everyone. We got a suburban! I love it! YES I KNOW HOW MUCH GAS IT TAKES!!!! Man, I have gotten so sick of hearing that! Do people think that we are just idiots who didn't think about the fuel! No one else is paying for our gas so I am not sure why everyone else is so concerned about it. Anyway, ok I am done with that rant!
I really like the new truck its older '01 and there are a few superficial things but it is something that we could afford and hopefully will be paid off soon.
Last night I was at home alone with the kids because my loving husband was at the firehouse. We were all hanging out in the living room. (i think that Abe was in bed already) I had brought the kids back packs in from the truck and they were going thru them. They each pulled out their little bibles. Jake stood beside me and in his hillbilly voice ( I am not sure who he is trying to sound like) he said " good morning, turn to tractor 12, lets talk about Jesus" and then he went on about Jesus for a few minutes while his sister (remember we are varying from the traditional COC) said "good morning, turn to Amy five" So she was singing and he was preaching at the same time. I couldn't help but smile. It was so cute! They crack me up with the things that they come up with. Jake still gets excited when Aaron uses the power point. Sometimes he will say "look mommma a movie!" Well at least he is paying attention!
We go for an appointment tomorrow with Liza, I am hopeful that this baby flipped. Oh this morning I asked the kids if it was a baby brother or baby sister. They both said sister. SO then I asked what we should name it. Charley said baby boy, Jake said Olivia. ( I actually like that name!) Not too much longer and we will see what flavor we are having woohoo! have a great week! When is this baby due? I love having newborns in winter. Make my drive to hibernate intensify even more. (I am one of those weirdos who can not be snowed in long enough!)
SO without going into great detail. Our van is dead/dying/needs put out of my misery and we are looking for something new. Since the van only seated 7 I am thinking that getting something that seats more would be smart since we will have another member in a few weeks. Along with the two Saint Bernards that we own more room is good! I had in my head a Toyota Sequoia. Until I got online and researched a few things. They definatly don't get raving reviews. What I did notice though was that the Chevy Suburban is spoken very highly of and I was wondering if anyone has any experience with GM vehicles. I have always been a honda girl but this Odyssey has left me with a very bad taste in my mouth. Those of you who are considering getting a Honda Odyssey I would STRONGLY urge against it. From what I have heard they are just not up to par with the rest of Hondas vehicles. Anyway any suggestions would be appreciated, AND, no matter what He says we are NOT getting a conversion van OR a church bus!
P.S. everything with the baby looks good except that he/she is breech. I have already started some manuevers to get it to flip we'll see! Have a great week!

We are thinking about coming to Ohio in mid-November to get the rest of our furniture. We would be back home for Thanksgiving though. I'll let you know so we can make big plans for FUN!!! Love you bunches and miss you more!!
We have a Sequoia and LOVE it! We have the Limited with buckets in the middle and a 3rd row bench, seats 7 adults comfortably. We've two toddler car seats and adult or 1 toddler, 1 infant and adult in the 3rd row with plenty of room. If you wanted an extra seat I think a middle bench is an option in the SR5 and Limiited models. Are you a Costco member? We got ours through their Auto Program (had to drive to Cinci) and we got a steal on it!
I've heard the exact opposite for Odysseys. I know a number of folks who have them and they all love them - from various model years.
I was going to suggest one of the big GMC vans - like the savanna - there is a brother who assembles with my mom & dad who is selling his. We drove it to the Columbus zoo and it's amazing. You could fit your dogs and about 8 kids in it with luggage. It only has ~35k miles on it, too.
10 weeks left to go. That is until the medical world says that our baby can come out and join the rest of us! I had an appointment with Liza my midwife today and she assured me that I felt just as overwhelmed with Abe as I have with this baby. Why she can remember these things and I can't??? I guess it's because I am growing a human and that is sucking everything out of my body. Especially brain cells. I was trying (key word- TRYING) to re aloud to Stewy today in the car and the book that I was attempting had A LOT of big words. Not only was i slurring and running words together I just plan couldn't pronounce them. To some this may not sound unusual but I am a good reader! This was very rough for me! You would think that I had a brain tumor or something. NOPE JUST GROWING A HUMAN!!!!! That'll suck the life out of anyone.
Anyway things are looking to be right on schedule. I am going into this delivery with a different attitude than the last three. I am planning on just letting the baby come when he/she feels that it is time. I am confident that Liza will not let me go to the point of delivering a 12# baby. OUCH!

My wonderful husband sent me out of the house today. As I was leaving two of the three were crying that they wanted to go with me. Charlotte because she is attached to me at the hip, Abe bacause someone other than him was going outside! I have been having some issue with the impending arrival of this baby. I say this because I need prayers. I have flashes of what in the world am I going to do with 4 babies 3 and under! I am better the past couple of days. Talking it out and getting reassurance and validation of my feelings has made a huge difference. It helps to outwardly voice my blessings!
I am thankful that God has more confidence in me than I do in myself.
I am thankful for my husband who is able to be left at home with his children and the knowledge that everything will be just fine. ( I know of fathers who want momma to take at least one of the mulitple children with her when she leaves, never truly giving her a break).
I am thankful for my wonderful group of friends that I can call on anytime of night or day and recieve a dose of pick me up!
I am thankful for my children, they have taught and will continue to teach me patience.
I am thankful for a place to worship that feels like family. Any place other than West Broad wouldn't feel the same.
