We're heading to Ft. Worth on Wed and then to OK on Christmas morning. We'll come back to Ft. Worth on New Year's Day and then drive back to Houston the following Saturday.
Krista sent me the link to your house- it is gorgeous!! Our mom in law is looking and I am hoping that she will like yours! For the last 2 years when we visit her we have been cramped into an apartment!
she thought it was too far from her work, but she said the pictures were beautiful... I'm getting frustrated with her... she's is picky!!! Trust me, it will sell soon, it looks fabulous!
RSV?!?! That's crazy! Is your apartment in Cameron? My personal opinion... live in Temple or Belton... MUCH NICER!!! I've eaten at the Texas Burger in Cameron and that's about all! conerning the potty... it's just a smaller seat that sits on the big toilet... I need to get a step stool for Johnny... but he peed again tonight before his bath!!!
yeah I have heard that weekends there are really crazy. I was afraid Friday night would be packed, but I think we got there early enough (right at 7pm) that not too many people had made it off of work and gotten there yet.
So for those that do not know, Josh lost his job about four weeks ago...when Andy was just two weeks old. It has been so lovely to have him home, but very stressful for us all. Josh accepted a job today in Cameron, TX...so it looks like we will be moving to Temple, TX. I am very sad to be leaving our home, family and friends, but look forward to what may possibly lay ahead. I ask for prayers for peace with our decision. I will miss my parents, who live just five miles from us so badly!!!
Does anyone know anything about any of the churches in the Temple/Belton area?
I will find out about the churches there. My sister-in-law knows about them, so I'll get back to you. Let's get together for dinner sometime before y'all have to move.
I will miss you SO much!!! My SIL lives in Killeen... good chuch there and in Temple is Leon Valley... They have great peple there. The Clanton's family goes to church there.
The Temple/Belton area is beautiful! Leon Valley is a wonderful congregation with lots of friendly people. We attended there for a few months (July to end of September) until we helped to start the work here in Killeen. That was a great experience for us. We meet with about 30 families right now and we have tons of little kids. (Sometimes it seems like our kids outnumber our adults!) Mike Walls is our preacher here. We have really enjoyed having them worship with us. His father in law, Warren King, preaches for Leon Valley. If you have any questions about this area let me know and I will tell you what I can. I hope we will get to meet you guys! =)
I should clarify that when we worshipped at Leon Valley was July of 02 to Sept of 02. The work here in Killeen started September 29, 2002 and we have been growing steadily since. We built our building in the summer of 05 (mostly our men building it and contracting out a few things) We have about 50% military and 50% non military. My husband, Jay's brother, teaches English at Central Texas College here in Killeen.
