Love can lead you to do what is right for whatever it is that holds a place in your heart. But the cost is high, and the payment is taken from your very soul.
Sorry I haven't updated in so long. I know you all missed me ;)
Anyways... it's been a pretty stressful week so far. Paul went into work on Monday, & his boss told him that, due to the lack of orders coming to the company (they make & ship carbide parts around the world), that they were having to lay a good many employees off. And, Paul was one of them. So, he's now in the process of looking for a new job. He has several leads so far, so we're hoping that one of those will help. His degree is in accounting, so if anybody knows of any jobs in that field, please let us know!
Well, I've gotta run. Still at the library. Talk to you guys soon!
Well, our internet is gone (for now), so I'm at the library.
Everything is going really well. Paul has been pretty sick this week, so we're both staying mostly to ourselves, trying to get him better, & trying to not spread germs around. We're planning on having his family over for dinner sometime within the next couple of weeks. I will be nice to get to visit with them.
Well, I'd better go. I hope everybody is doing good, & I'll talk to you guys soon!
Yeah, we did have a good time.
Everything is going good. Just staying busy. I'm going to look at my calender and see when I can meet you for lunch. When would be a good time for you and where?
looking at all the other comments this won't mean much since you've heard it already, but the house looks great and its great to see furniture in the house
Well, everything is still going really good here. Paul & I had a great 4th of July. We went to my grandparents' house, then came back home to watch the fireworks in the park.
We're ALMOST done fixing up the house! All we have left to do is hang some pictures. I can't wait to start having friends & family over!
I'm really starting to get to know our town, & I'm loving it more & more! All the people are very friendly, the town had everything we need! It's a great place to live!
Paul & I met our neighbors last weekend. They have a six month old baby boy, which is great! It's nice to know that we have good neighbors!
Sorry this post was a little random. I'm tired tonight. ;) Talk to ya'll soon!
I remember when I got my hair cut REALLY short, I remember thinking this is great, then I cried because it was gone...I'm sure you look fabulous with short hair.
Jimmy, this guy at work will sometimes bring his baby over for us to see him. He is so sweet! I love it when a baby's face lights up when they see you!
Yeah, I got tired of the old picture and I had just had that one taken. I like it because I'm turned to the side and you really don't have to see my face :)
That would be so hard! Everything is going good. Were kinda in limbo right now. We have to be invited to be finger printed and then our home study program has to be translated into Chinese for the government. So that is going to take us a little while (our social worker was a talker).
Well, everything is still going good for us! I think we're finally about ready to start having company over :) We've decided to have each set of parents and grandparents over for dinner one night soon. We bought a grill a couple of weeks ago, so I think Paul will grill out, and I'll make the side dishes.
I always knew that I'd love being married, and love being a wife, but I never imagined how nice it is to have someone that's always there, and will always be there. It's been wonderful so far!
I've been taking to my Aunt Rita a lot lately. She's always been one of my favorite people, but I never had the chance to spend much time with her. In the past year or so I've been able to see her more, which is great. It's been really nice for me to be able to be around her, and learn from her as well.
As wonderful it is to be newlweds, it just gets better with time & God at the center of everything. Glad you're enjoying being a homemaker as God intended.
Haven't been swimming yet?! How have you gone this far into summer and not gone swimming :) We went to the Hollands to eat then watched fireworks in Peachtree City.
