Some of you asked... 09-18-08 01:40pm CST
for the website for the Mark Your Bible material.

You can find it by going here.

I have rearranged the topics, deleted some and added others, and we'll be adding more as the ladies suggest subjects they feel weak on and want more study. We had our first morning class today, with three others and myself. It went great! I'm looking forward to this evening's session, when we'll have more. The morning class is our "stop watch," to know exactly how much material to cover in the evening, so both sessions will be at the same spot. That way if someone comes in the morning one week and the evening the next week, they won't miss out on anything. I'm shooting for one hour only per class, but this morning we started three minutes late...you know how women are when they get together.

Just for your information, the topics I've chosen so far are:

1. The Nature of Man
2. Eternal plan
3. Bible Authority
4. The Bible Can Be Understood
5. What It Means to Believe On Jesus
6. Repentance
7. Confession
8. The Design of Water Baptism
9. Baptism Is Immersion Only
10. The Salvation of a Good Moral Man (Cornelius)
11. After Death chart
12. Possible for a Child of God to Sin and Be Lost
13. The Old Covenant Done Away in Christ
14. The name Christian
15. Instrumental Music/Singing
16. The Kingdom of Christ
17. Predestination

Aleta is also teaching this material in a ladies' class in Rosenberg, so if you're really interested, you might contact her to see if she has suggestions. She mentioned they are not underlining passages, but we are. I'm having the ladies do their underlining and referencing together the first two classes, but later they'll do that part at home and we'll just spend our class time in study. Or at least, that's the plan.

Thank you for all the encouraging comments below about this class. And for those of you who wish you were here, so do I!
