it's the 17th & 17's my favorite number, so i feel like i should post. anyhow...i have tons of new photos to post but i'm way too lazy, so if you're interested in seeing photos from our bonfire Halloween party or pictures of little newborn babies or pictures of my critters...join facebook!
anyhow...nothing really to post about except the dreaded 24-hour drive each way to & from the thanksgiving feast this year. fortunately, roadtrips with james are fun. he makes me laugh. and we'll get to see his grandparents that we haven't seen in over 5 years. and we'll get to be with his whole family. and we'll get a taste for some real cold weather. and if we get lucky, we might even see snow. and...gas prices are down! just in time! wahoo!!! so...other than the LOOOONG drive...it should be a good trip.
happy thanksgiving, y'all! |

1. Find your largest coffee mug.
2. Fill it 1/2 full w/ skim milk
3. Microwave about a minute & a half
4. Stir in 1 packet or scoop of no-sugar-added chocolate Carnation Instant Breakfast + 1 packet of splenda
5. Fill the mug the rest of the way up w/ coffee
Yummy! Who needs starbucks when you can have mocha that's just as yummy but lower in calories and loaded with vitamins & minerals??? It's breakfast & coffee, all in one!

i guess i got myself a GREAT husband, then... he's watching YET ANOTHER history channel special analyzing the star wars movies and comparing them with real life. i keep hearing about which aspects of the movie are true to life and which are actually impossible. he wants me to come sit on the couch and watch with him. seriously...how many star wars geeks are there out there that they can keep running these type of specials over and over for this many years??? |
