I have no problem with philosophy or sociology being taught in schools as long as it is done openly and appropriately. However, from personal experience, I can say that is certainly not always the case. All four things I listed there (and it was not an exhaustive list by any means), are all qualified by the phrase "in very damaging and destructive ways". Aspects of sexuality and intolerance I believe can be appropriately taught in school; but there are also inappropriate things and ways which those subjects can be taught.  preacherdavetx The "public school" portion is just an amplified example of leaving the "schooling" of one's children up to the world. The overriding theme of the article is that parents have the responsibility to be schooling - teaching, training, disciplining - their children. Glad the job's goin good!  login to comment hide comments love-ly weekend 09-28-08 09:03pm CST in birmingham two great friends got hitched as jeff young put it "jeff (blankenship) and meghann met in jamaica, so naturally they'll be spending the first week of their marriage in the honeymoon mecca of mobile, alabama" they make an incredible couple and i know that they'll do amazing things together for God! (they already have) got to see a bunch of other very awesome people too it was quite enjoyable and classy :) the flower girl, the bride, and a bridesmaid :) a bunch of us jamaica trippers at the rehearsal dinner mr. and mrs. blankenship! littlebitty624 :o) yay!!!! i definitely want to see pics!!  laughing_eyes yes, I'm definitely ready to go.  wgdwhenwecome4u congrats to both of them!
