As I was leaving services tonight Wilson (age 5?) came up to me to say goodbye and give me a hug (sweet huh?). Well when Wilson was younger he was determined that he would marry me.He hadn't said anything about it lately but tonight it came up again. Someone asked me if he still wanted to marry me and since I didn't know I asked him. It went something like this :)
Me: Wilson do you still want to marry me?
Wilson: *in a rather sympathetic tone* I think I'm going to have to marry someone else. Because you are too old and when I get married you will already be married. So...I will have to marry someone else.
Me: Right. Well that's good.
Wilson: But!...When your husband dies then I can marry you!
Me: Oh!...

My lovely niece is now a year old! She has grown so much :) I know she is such a great source of joy to her mom and dad :) I miss that little girl so much! She is by far my favorite niece ;) ha.

A conversation I had with Luke right before bed last night...
Me: "Ok Luke. It's time to go to sleep cause you're really tired! Night night! I love you!"
Luke: "Ok, night night. I love you too."
Me: "I love you more!"
Luke: "I love you more!"
Me: "No, I love you more!"
Luke: "...I love MOM more!"
I think he is ready to see his mom again tomorrow :) |

Tomorrow morning Adam is leaving for FC...it hasn't really hit me yet. It's going to be weird being the oldest kid at home! I'll miss you Adam! Even your strange, crazy and random side. :)
Mom is driving Adam and Catherine down to FC tomorrow. She is going to be gone for a week so that means Dad and I get to hold down the fort :) It should be fun! We've done if before and it went fine, though we were all very very excited to have mom back! So here is to a week of cooking and mom duty! Fun! I'm actually looking forward to it! :) It'll be fun getting to cook and clean and do everything! Though it'll be nice handing it back to mom at the end of the week;)
This past week has been pretty good. Though I didn't accomplish near the amount I had hoped to! I guess that's what happens when you're sick! Lord willing I'll get more done this coming week now that I'm all better! Yay! It's such a blessing that God made our bodies so that the heal! I'm thankful.
I've decided that watching twins interact with each other is one of the cutest and sweetest things ever!!! If only I lived near someone who had twins...
Ok well this turned out to be longer than I meant for it to be! Ha! I hope you have a wonderful weekend and that each day you find yourself a step farther!

So lately I've been thinking a lot about how quickly time is going by. It seems like just a few days ago I was learning to read and write and tie my shoes. And now I only have three years of school left and soon will be learning to drive. Crazy. Where is all the time going? My days and weeks have become a blur and I hardly realize it's one day before it becomes the next!
That got me thinking about how we can take for granted the time we are given. Each new day is a blessing from God and with that we should try and make the best of what we have! Our days go by so fast it's easy to forget how important each one is. We aren't promised another day. We must live in a way pleasing to God so that we are always ready and bring glory to Him today. We also never know who may be watching and be influenced by what we say and do!
May we all be thankful for each new day and live the life we should live and be the example we should be.
