Those cheatin' Cubs! Did anyone else see what happened last night when Hunter hit the ball into the ivy?
This weekend my lovely wife and I are headed to Honey Island to help celebrate Reese's birthday. There had best be some good food there!
Well the family dodged Gustav seeing how it didn't even really come into Texas and that is good. There are however 3 more storms out there and who knows what they will do.
Not much else to report on right now. I will close with saying I love my wife. She means so very much to me. She has done more for me then I could ever ask for. She is amazing.
Take care all and God Bless.

Alex Rodriguez, you know him, 3rd baseman for the Yankees. Let's take a look at his salary.
Let's give him the credit of playing every game this year including spring training games which started on Feb. 29th and regular season ending on Sep. 28. Let's also give him the credit of no days off between those dates. Now if my math is correct that adds up to 213 days that he would work. Let's take his $30,000,000 salary this year, according to a Yahoo article, and do a bit more math. Let's give him the credit of working 6 hours a day, mind you some days he don't work at all. He makes $23,474.18 an hour, $391.24 min, and $6.52 a second. Ummmm...wow! Let's say he worked 24-7 for those 213 days. He would be making $5868.54 a hour or $1.63 a second. Hey why don't we just go ahead and say he works 24-7 365.25 days a year. He would STILL be making $3422.31 a hour!
Now anyone who is being paid that much money should not be booed in their own stadium for playing badly.
That's just my two cents on things. Oh did I forget to mention that Hunter Pence is making $396,000 this year? And the first place Tampa Bay Devil Rays, who are in the SAME DIVISION as the beloved Yankees have a combined roster salary of about $44 million.
I'm gonna stop talking now.
Take care all and God Bless.

Yesterday was our 10 month anniversary of when we met. On that day in October I never would have thought we would be where we are today. But I am so glad we are. She has made and continues to make me so happy. I love her very much.
This weekend we are heading back to see my family and friends and to hit the river and do some skiing and tubing and kneeboarding! I havn't been on the water, that jetski test run I did don't count, this year and I am dying to go. Then we are going to go eat at Texas Roadhouse and there I will eat many many rolls. To understand this just go ask my Fat at Heart Club member and friend Jesse about them! Maybe after that we can get a game or two of tennis in! Sunday we are going to go eat with his family and I won't say where yet because it's a surprise!
My little cousin Reese, her is having a birthday soon and we are hoping to make it to that...and Traci believe me it has nothing to do with the fact you have the jump gym and food and games. We are coming solely for her!
I want to publicly thank Alex and Ross for the wonderful job they did on the photos at our wedding. The one's I have seen are beautiful. Alex you certainly are a talented man. Thank you.
That sums things up for me.
Take care all and God Bless.

We are home. This is a listing our how our week went.
Sunday morning...got up at 4 and drove to Hobby Airport to catch a 635 flight to Orlando. We arrive slightly earlier than expected and we make our way to the Disney Magical Express bus to take us to our resort! We arrive at the Port Orleans - French Quarter and proceed to check in. Fortunately they have a room ready for us so we head there and take a nap. We spend the rest of the day at Magic Kingdom. Monday we got up and headed to Epcot. we travelled around there and then headed back that evening. Tuesday was animal kingdom day. Unfortunately someone got a little motion sick due to a ride that spun me in circles so we didn't stay there that long. We did get to do most of everything we wanted to. That evening we headed to Downtown Disney and went shopping! That got a bit pricey. We won't point any fingers but someone spent $120 on one gift. I mean seriously who needs a Lego thing that cost that much. Wednesday was MGM/Hollywood Studios day. We had a really good time here and got some awesome rides and shows. That Aerosmith ride was amazing. Thursday was back to Magic Kingdom day since we didn't get to do everything there the first day. I finally got to ride Space Mountain! (Long story behind that). We headed back and sadly had to start packing. We left early Friday morning to head back to Houston. But the fun didn't stop there. We had booked a two night stay in Kemah (League City) at the South Shore Harbor Resort. That hotel was really nice. While in Kemah we did nothing. We thought the place was going to be a lot nicer and fun that it was. Combined with supper we were there 2 hours. After all that we headed over to the putt-putt place and had a little fun there. Saturday we went to Nasa and then to the Houston Zoo. Sunday was church at Southside then we headed home. It was sad having to go home but it was also nice. Now we get to start our lives together!
I love you!
Eating:
Sunday - Tony's Town Square
Monday - The Garden Grill
Tuesday - Planet Hollywood
Wednesday - Resort Cafe
Thursday - Boatwrights
Friday - Babin's Seafood
Saturday - Pappasitas
Sunday - We cooked (and it was nice to have real food!!!)
I'm sure if you want to see pictures they will be uploaded onto her facebook page. And if you ask, Alex might even post some of our wedding pictures on his blog.
I end this by singing the song we heard.
There’s a great, big, beautiful tomorrow
Shining at the end of every day
There’s a great, big, beautiful tomorrow
And tomorrow’s just a dream away
Take care all and God Bless.
