I hope everyone had a fun Halloween! Thursday night Jonathan carved our big pumpkin and the boys wanted to help so we got their little pumpkins and sat them on the floor with a bunch of newspaper underneath them. We were going to let them clear out all of the seeds from their pumpkins. It was so funny. They had so much fun playing with their pumpkins, or should I say kins...that is what Ezra calls them. I don't know why he leaves the pump part out. They ended up getting way off of the newspaper and getting seeds all over the kitchen floor. They had them stuck to the bottom of their feet and allover their pants. We had to stop in the middle of everything and take them upstairs to give them a bath. You could see quite a few little seeds floating in the water. Hehe!!
Friday we dressed the boys up in their costumes and did a little trick or treating. We stopped first at Grandpa and Grandma's house. From there we went to my Grandma and Papaw's house, but when we got there the boys were asleep. So then we just drove over to my mom's and my grandparents came over there later with some Halloween treats for the boys. Aunt Tiffi and Uncle John also went to Mamaw's house to see Spiderman and the Hulk. It was a great Halloween...the boys stayed up until 11:30. The good thing was that they slept in until about 10:00 Saturday. That was so nice. That never happens.
Saturday we went to Target and Walmart. We got the boys their toddler beds, but unfortunately we have to exchange them because the wood has some cracks and chips in it. That is so aggrevating. I hate having to return things. We already have their cribs down and Jonathan had actually already put one of them together before we noticed the flaws. Oh well. At Target the boys, and by boys I mean all 3 of them, had fun trying out some of the toys, especially the little tricycle. Ezra did not want to leave it. We're thinking about getting those for the boys for their birthday. They are so cute and we already know that the boys love them. Then Saturday evening we got to visit a little while with Jonathan's brother, Jason. He was passing through the area on his way to a Gospel meeting in Linton. That was nice!
Today, well I guess it's yesterday now, there was a baby shower for a girl at church who is having a little girl. There are going to be 5 new babies born at church before the end of the year. 2 of the 5 were born earlier this morning. My friend had her twin baby boys this morning. Everyone is doing so well too. She carried them to 37 weeks. One of them was 6 lbs 7 oz and the other was a whopping 7 lbs and 9 oz. Isn't that amazing for twins? I am so happy for them. I can't wait to see them. We are hoping some time this week to visit them.
Oh and there was a good ending to the night too, because the COLT'S beat the Patriots!!!! YAY!!!!
Well I hope that everyone has a great week! Here's the pictures from our weekend...

I finally got some recent pictures to show everyone. They are all pictures from over the past month or so. The messy eating pictures were just taken earlier tonight at dinner. We had pizza and the boys went a little crazy. They were covered in pizza sauce. I'm not sure how much of it actually made it to their mouths.
Oh and the boys' pediatrician appointment last week went really well. They ended up getting just 2 shots. They got off to a bad start though. They screamed horrible just when they were getting weighed and measured let alone when the shots came. They got over everything pretty quickly though. The doctor was very pleased with their weight gain and their development. They are doing everything that they should be doing at this point, which is awesome!! They are such smart boys!!
I didn't get any really good pictures of the boys in their costumes over the weekend, but I definitely will get some on Friday. I'll be sure to post some then. Until then I hope you all enjoy looking at these pictures. They put a smile on my face everytime I look at them.
Hope everyone has had a good week so far. Mine has been a little on the stressful side. I could use a nice, relaxing weekend, but I doubt that will happen. There's always something to do or somewhere to go. I guess I should try and get some rest now by going to bed. It's getting late.

Well once again it's been quite awhile since I've updated. I'm getting to be so bad about updating my pleo entries. I guess there just hasn't been too much to talk about. I do have so many pictures of the boys over the past month that I want to share with everybody, I just can't seem to find the time to get them on here. I'll definitely have to post some pictures after this weekend. We are dressing the boys up in their Halloween costumes this Saturday for a Halloween party that my family has every year. I am so excited for the boys to wear their costumes. They look so cute. Ezra picked out Spiderman and Isaac picked out the Incredible Hulk :) Isaac's costume cracks me up! Jonathan has joked about painting his face green but I don't think it's such a great idea. He would make a mess, smearing it all over the place. I told Jonathan that he could photoshop Isaac's face green in a pictures if he wanted to and if I know Jonathan like I think I do, he'll do just that :)
Oh...yesterday marked 8 years since Jonathan and I went out on our first date. I cannot believe that it has been that long. I don't think either one of us would have guessed that 8 years later we would be where we are today. I wonder where we will be in another 8 years.
Tomorrow is going to be a fun day...not really. The boys have a wellness check up at the pediatrician and they are due for immunizations. They also have to get their flu shot. It's going to be horrible. They are getting a lot stronger and harder to hold still during shots and I absolutely just hate listening to them cry when they are in pain. It breaks my heart :(
Well I guess that's all for now. Like I said I will try to post some pictures soon. I have so many cute ones to share with you all. I hope everyone has a great end to their week :) I'm ready for the weekend! Can you believe that November is just a week a way? That is crazy!! Where is the time going? |

Well I had an entry typed out and then lost it, so now this is going to be short and sweet. First of all...hello friends! It's been awhile...again. I don't have as much time to blog anymore. I seem to spend most of my time chasing after the boys...which is perfectly fine with me. They are keeping me in shape :)
The boys are going to be 19 months old on the 23rd of this month. It doesn't seem possible to me that they are that old. Last week we went to Portrait Innovations and got some pics taken of the boys in their UK outfits for their grandpa, who is a huge KY Wildcats fan. They turned out so well that we ended up getting a lot more than we planned on. I also added a cute picture of Isaac and Ezra eating chocolate pudding. Aren't their chocolate mustaches cute?
