I guess most everyone starts today. After all of the meetings and other preparatory things of the last week, I am ready to start and get into a routine. Let's all remember who we are as we face the (sometimes ungodly) world of education.
"The Lord will rescue me from every evil deed and bring me safely into His heavenly kingdom." (2 Timothy 4:18)
Parents tell their children this all of the time. I remember that when I was growing up I thought that this was to make sure that my wife would “go to church” with me. But marrying a Christian affects every part of your life. Decisions about your children are dependent on both parents seeing things the same way. I didn’t, and you won’t, fully understand this until you have (or haven’t) married a Christian, but believe me, it is true. I am a stronger Christian today than I would have ever been at this time of my life without a strong Christian wife.
Always remember, marry a Christian, and that you marry someone you have dated!
until you're married you don't realize how much your spouse affects you. my folks always said "marry someone who will help you get to heaven." very sound advice.
Amen!! You're right. Whoever you marry makes a huge impact on your life and every decision made, whether they're big or small ones. How money's spent, where to go on vacation, what you watch on tv, how your children dress, etc. Like you said, I appreciate it much more now that I am married with children than I did when I was dating. Thankful I married such a great Christian husband! :)
Good post. My mom has told me that no one stressed that to young people in the 40's. That strikes me as so odd but we too need to remember to teach this lesson. thanks!
It was not the names in color that was the key, but the names that were UNDER those in color. Under red were my physical family, under yellow were camp people, under blue were current Westside in Stephenville folks, and green meant nothing!
YOu never cease to amaze me with the way you think! Sure do miss all of you! Can you believe that Kevan and I have been married 29 years? Hope you had fun celebrating Robin's birthday.
Guess what!......You are my friend!!.....I feel sorry for you no joke because I happen to be a very loud person....amd I like to randomly ramble on your pleonast blog for aboslutley no reason...it's rather fun and your probably wondering right about now why your still reading this and I know the answer to that...do you wana know?...do ya? do ya? Well actually the answer is there is no answer it's completley pointless!!!!! so I just used up a ton of space on your blog rambling about absolutley nothing....have a nice day
This is the year we finally went! We decided to because we were going to be in the area for Anita's first cousin's daughter's wedding on Saturday. (Say that three times fast!) Timing was too good to pass up, and are we ever glad we went! Three hours singing with 1300 others...praise lifted the roof!
If you've been, you already know. If you've never been, you need to go next year.
I dont get it either...I looked who I'm with under my color and I have nothing in common with anyone there except Chandler, who I go to church with. Unless I'm under the one color that the people have nothing in common:)
I see so I don't get a color? Then why isn't Tim under Red? Didn't you first know him at Westside? Oh and I agree with Jamie I should get my own color! :)
Well, happy anniversary! ;) Hmmm....I'm trying to figure out your color scheme. I thought it'd be easy because I thought I'd be the same color as my family, but I'm blue....hmmmm...thinking, thinking...
^^ At least you have some color in your name! What would all the red names have in common, if that even has anything to do with it? Same with the other colors. I don't know a lot of these people so I can't look at it from that standpoint.
