Wow, I didn't realize how long it had been since I last posted, whew!
Today we celebrated Keelan's 5th birthday. Of course, he won't be 5 until Tuesday. He was so excited...oh to be able to bottle the energy and take a sip when needed.
Today is the first day of my vacation week!!! 10 whole days off!! I plan to work around the house and take some little side trips next week, Lord willing, but nothing major. Maybe I can go to Tennessee in October...if I save enough pennies, Ha!
Our new preacher and his family have arrived and been with us three weeks now. I pray that the Lord will continue to bless the work here.
Hey! I've found WPAQ 740 online, so I can now listen to Mt.Airy bluegrass. I also have the Galax channel bookmarked. Sounds like you all have a hot one down there, today!!!!
~Thursday night I took Keelan and Kenna a pair of glasses with the funky noses and eybrows attached and a set of the "billy bob" teeth. They had a ball putting them on and looking at themselves in the mirror. Dawn said she needed to get her and Jeff a pair and have a family portrait made. I also found them a slinky at the dollar tree and Jeff showed them how it would "walk" down the steps...who know that $3 could produce so much fun and enjoyment for all.
~Friday we were so short-handed at work that I could get any of my work done until after 5. I didn't get home til amost 8. So I didn't get on the computer last night at all.
~Today I got up with some sort of stomach bug and have spent the day inside. Feeling some better now...gonna go now and see was Andy Griffin is up to.
