Update: I found the cheesecake jello & made it the same way I made the pumpkin mousse. {1 cup milk, 1 cup cool whip}. I added it to the bottom or the cup & then poured the pumpkin mousse on top. I LOVE THE COMBO BETTER! It makes it more like a pumpkin cheesecake, so it's a little less pumpkin spice "overkill". Even though I layered it, I ended up stirring it up in the cup to mix the flavor throughout. Since it's a limited edition, I bought approximately 10 boxes! :)
All things pumpkin is Joe & Chuck! I'll have to check it out, no I'll let Holly bring some over while Gregg & Jenny are here!! Hint Hint Holly!!! Oh yeah I saw the picture of you holding Lilia at your shower and it was soooo cute!!
I'm sorry for neglecting my blog & not keeping up with many of your emails! I've been putting in quite a few hours at work & am pretty much exhausted when I get home. I guess that's part of being the office manager!
Pregnancy is still great and we're still counting down the days until we get to meet Taylor. Time is flying by now, I can only imagine how fast it's going to go once we have her here. We still have a lot to get done before the birth, including:
Hang crown moulding
Paint the furniture
Arrange the nursery
Find a pediatrician
Decide if we're going to vaccinate
Prepare & freeze meals
Clean the house (before & after our Thanksgiving guests)
Go shopping for the items we aren't blessed with at my shower
I'm sure there's more....
Here is the most recent profile picture of my growing belly. Taylor's got about another 2-3lbs to grow, so it will be interesting to see how much bigger I will get.
{32.5 Weeks}
I'm ready to be back in normal clothes and to be able to reach my feet comfortably again! I won't miss balancing in the shower to reach my ankles with the razor either. :)
Talking with each other & our friends, we're curious to see whose traits Miss Taylor will inherit. I didn't realize how much hair I had when I was born, and also how dark it was! I guess it's the Cherokee blood in me? I later lost my hair completely & it came back in a little lighter. Poor Kyle was premature, but grew some hair later - as well as the ability to read by age 2!
You do look adorable! Jenny got my baby gift in the mail yesterday so she will bring it to the shower!! I know you will get lots of neat baby things!! Oh yes, I found some cute flowers to use in making the head bands for Taylor!! Post lots of pics from the shower! I wish I lived closer so I could go!!
technically... AZ's umeployment rate is lower than the national average. And (sad for them) the construction jobs are the majority of the jobs in AZ being cut. So... the rest of can at least take confidence. And be happy with lower gas prices!
Please pray for Dana (Marrs) Wade. She is being induced today to have baby Henry / Hank. {Per Lisa's request!}
*****Henry was born at 8:57 pm Tuesday. I'll try to get weight, etc.*****
Also, please pray for Kyle's grandma. Her shoulder replacement went well. She is not having much from that anymore & had started healing nicely. She did however, hurt her back pulling sheets off her bed. She thought she had just put it out, but after going to the hospital, she found out she has a broken vertebrae.
****The doctors found a compressed fracture of the vertebrae in Elaine's back, and Wednesday afternoon they're doing a procedure to infuse it with cement.*****
Here's a little dental humor to get you through your week:
My sister is thinking of the name Henry for a boy if they have one. :) Cute cartoon! WOw, you're already almost 31 weeks!! 64 days doesn't seem that far away does it? Exciting!
oh please don't call the baby hank! henry is cute but hank reminds me of an old crazy man at my work! haha! we're still waiting for henry to come...prayers for dana!
Elaine is in my prayers. As well as Tracy & Jim helping her out! So thankful that you are doing so well! Take care! Give Kaylie & Lilia lots of hugs and kisses for us!
