Teddy will be one month old tomorrow and Meredith is 22 months old today!
She has been hilarious lately, I wish I could remember all of the funny things she says and does. Yesterday I was having her repeat the alphabet and when she got to the letter "J" she said "J, Pa Pa, J that Pa Pa, Pa Pa at work." I had no idea that she knew Pa Pa's name is Jay, lol. She is also obsessed with all of the other babies at church. She wakes up and asks me if "Lili home, Awphie (Sophie) home, Sean home."
We've been stuck inside for about a week now with the kids both having a cold. We did make it to the New England Aquarium on Wednesday with both of the kids Grandmothers. That was a lot of fun and Meredith LOVED the "shishies" (fishies).
Teddy weighs 9 lbs. now, yay he's a real baby now with a little bit of fat (just a little, lol). He still continues to amaze me with how content he is to just hang out! My sweet little boy is sooo good when he needs to be put down or held by somebody other than me but he such a great cuddler too.
Well enough about my wonderful kids, lol!
Enjoy your Thanksgiving!!!!!!!! My absolute favorite Holiday!
Aw, you are both beautiful! So is Merry, but she is not in the picture. She sounds adorable in her character/personality! It is so sad that we live so far!
We miss you!!! Seems that Lukas has a cold too...So looks like we'll be in the house for a few days, yuck! Wow, Teddy is catching up to Lili! Go Teddy, go! =)
I completely understand what you mean about the whole "real baby" thing! It has taken Haley nearly 3 months to get into "real baby" clothes. I love the age that Merry and Andrew are at. The words they learn and the concepts they pick up on is amazing!
hi Courtney! Angela wanted me to tell you that she made it home safe. I guess she got a little motion sickness on her way back though. Otherwise she is fine. I know she was so excited to see you guys! I heard you guys had a great time. I can't wait to see you in Dec. and meet Teddy!
don't have much time to update, trying to type with one hand but enjoying both of my beautiful children!
oh and I just got the saddest call from Jasmin's school wanting me to pick her up bc she is sick and I don't have a car...I feel awful! I remember those days where they could not get in touch with anyone and you're sitting there in the nurses office all alone...so sad =(
Well here are a few pictures from the last couple of days.
Awwww... I views these with Cole looking over my shoulder. His comments on Chris & Teddy sleeping: "there's the boys"; and overall (before we got to the last one) "Teddy doesn't have his eyes open yet?"
So sweet and so beautiful! Our computer is down so my access to the Internet has been quite limited- this is the first time I'm seeing pictures of your little boy! He is so precious. And Merry is getting so big!
"Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery and today is a gift that's why they call it present" -I think it was the old wise turtle on Kung Fu Panda!
I wish you could've gone to Maine too! Maybe next year! Or were you talking about Boston, yesterday? Next time I come to visit, you won't have a newborn!
Unfortunately I only have like 3 new pictures and even those are over a week old. I need to be better about taking them but the days just fly by sooooo fast. Everything is going pretty well, Teddy is still so good and sweet. He barely ever cries and when he does it is always for a reason that I know how to fix. At night he wakes up about every 2 hrs but he doesn't cry he just starts moving around making little noises. If you see us and we look like we are sleep deprived then it is not bc of the newborn it is from our lovely toddler. Big changes around here and it is effecting her sleep, poor girl! She has been getting those same night terrors that she was getting when he were house sitting. Hopefully they will not last long and we will be back to sleeping through the night again.
Teddy gained about 13 oz. since his appt. a week ago. He looks bigger but he is still so small, only weighs 6 lbs. 12 oz.
Well hopefully I can get around to taking some pictures but if you really want to see him just come on over =)
Yeah, I'd love to come over and meet him, but even going as far away as my midwives appointment was a challenge, over 2000 miles would be a bit tough. ;)
I'm going to try to come over today, but it's depending on when the gas guy comes, he gave us the very generous time frame of being here from 8am to 4pm, nice, huh? Well, I'll call you if he's here early! =) I really want to hold that sweet boy of yours!
