Well last Saterday didn't go to well:( We recived a 1, 2, 2, at contest when we normaly get 1,1,1, This is the frist time in over 8 years that we did not advance to area. Oh well when the band has a pyramids show and Great Pyramids of Egypt look like snakes there is a problem. Oh well I did not drop and the only mistake I made was turning the wrong direction. Oh well you cant change the pass but aleast we get to do a differnt show on Fridays besides the one we have been doing since August.
I was so happy to have you there with me at the singing, it just made it that much better :) That singing was amazing! Hope to meet up with you again soon, maybe that 5th sunday singing hopefully.
Contest is on SATERDAY!! Neves are high because this an advancing year and if we get strait ones we will advance to area. This year has been so stress full sence August 1, that was when we started learning the show. Through summer band, the many colorguad practices that have taken place, and monday night rehearsles till 9pm will hopfully pay offin ht lon run. We will be preforming in Elcampo at 2:15 on Saterday. When the sun is high and makes our eyes burn when we look up to the press box. Oh well I hopw all the work pays off, and I will post a new entry as soon as I know our score.
Ok Miss Priss...you come up with 8 things about yourself that I don't know...Good Luck on Saturday. I hope y'all do good and get to go on to Area. You know things always come together at contest. A little tip about looking at the press box...on throws, close your eyes as you release and open them and focus on the pole heading right toward to your head ;)...Sounds wierd but it works. Let me know how y'all do and keep our tradition going :)
Ike has come and gone. YEAH!! My family is all ok and nothing is damaged. I hope everyone eles did as well as we did. Thank you for all the prayers. Lets still keep all the costal areas in our though. School starts back Tuesday for me, but not till next monday hopefully for them. Thank you.
So this is the last week of summer. Oh well it has flown by too fast. A silent house is so wonderful and now all i have to do is my summer reading assignment for school. YUCK. I only have about 50 more pages give or take of my book titled Wrightings and speeches by Martin Luther King Jr. Five minutes into the book and i am asleep. The marching show is hard, but we have over half of it done and the colorguard is going on friday to finish learning the rest of the routine. Hope all is well where you are.

hope everyone is enjoying their last few days of summer. Summer band has started (Noooooooooooooooooooo). The tan lines have started forming and aren't going to go away for a long time. Life if good.
oooo. You are bringing back so so many memories. The instant tan and sore arms for 2 weeks, its well worth the pain though, what fun. I am looking forward to watching you perform at the half-time shows. Yes, we will be there. Can't wait.!!!
