I'm sure all of you know there is an election today. I bet you didn't know there is also a galactic election going on too! Will you vote for Lando or Palpantine?
I think Palpatine's got a good thing going for him right now, what with the force lightning and all. Besides, Lado has no experience running a galactic empire.
So I had the strangest dream the other night, I seem to have many.
I was walking around the church building when we were suddenly told that an evacuation had been ordered for our entire area. But they didn't tell us what we were evacuating from or why. So without asking questions we board a large railway. Much like the railway seen in Batman Begins connecting Gotham City.
So we get into the railway car and begin heading towards Houston. And there is a TV that is the left corner of the car. It suddenly comes on and woman tells us that we are being evacuated for our own safety. And that they have confirmed that China and Russia have launched a large nuclear strike on the United States at several points all over the country.
As she says this I see families huddle together and people begin crying. The lady then goes on to say that we as Americans will stand strong during this dark hour and be more united that ever before. As she says this it then shows a scene of soldiers dressed like SWAT team members going through neighborhoods killing civilians. After that, they show us the bomb shelter in which we will be placed in and the TV goes off.
I look out the window and notice that we are somewhere near San Jancinto. I have this horrible feeling inside of me knowing that we probably won't make it there, but a small glimmer of hope that we will. I then ask the question, why are we going to Houston? It's a big city and more likely for an attack. I only get shrugs to the response as no one knows.
Then I continue to look out the window and a huge flash booms off over the horizon. The women in the tram begin screaming and crying. I begin to realize that this is the end. But I felt reassured by what awaits me afterward. A large wall of dust and ash began swarming towards the railway and just as it hit I woke up.
This week we are treated with 2 football games! Last night was a snooze fest as we demolished poor LC-M. Saturday is the big game known as Mid-County Madness. PN-G versus Ned, should be a great game this year as it usually is.
More than 10,000 people show up so the atmosphere should be awesome!
